Can you listen to subliminals as a roman Catholic?

I am a roman Catholic and I want to listen to subliminals real bad. I have a really ugly face and because of that I can't be happy, find love, focus, love myself or anyone, go outside, make friends or anything like that. I've tried to love myself and accept myself but it's impossible. Can I listen to subliminals to change my face? I'm literally so ugly I can't even pray and meditate because of my face.

Well, kiddo. First thing off the bat is that "subliminals" aren't going to change anything, Catholic or not.

Secondly, beauty isn't any sort of "passport" to contentment and success unless your only career goal is to model. Even that is not much of a career and most are unhappy.

Seems to me your problem is not your face, but your low self esteem and lack of social skills. You need a better support circle in your life.

My problem is my face, my face is so ugly and I've already done everything to look my best, i am skinny, i take care of my skin but i still look like shit. I will never find love the way I look

First of all, what are they? Second, what makes you so sure of what you say about yourself? And third, how would they help?

They are basically music with affirmations in the background to trick your brain into thinking you have something you don't have but in the end you will get it. I just am ugly I can see what's in the mirror. They would help me get a pretty face and that would get rid of 90% of my problem's.

If you are Catholic, none of what you've said is true. And if these "subliminals" are what you say they are, I would answer "no".

And you still haven't answered my question. What makes you so sure that you're ugly? How do you know social media or general pressures in life aren't deceiving you into believing such a thing about yourself?

I got my first insecurity by the age 6, it was my chin because I thought it was too small. I have 3 younger sister's, they are all so beautiful and that made me really insecure. People always complimented my sister's look's but never complemented mine, they even complimented them in front of me. When I was younger I had a crush on this boy but he liked my sister better because he thought she was beautiful but he lost feelings for her because she was mean to him. He told me then he liked me because of my personality but in other words he said I was less attractive than my sister. My dad also made comments about my face and so did other children, my insecurities have just become worse and worse. It's so terrible that I don't even go outside, I hate everything about me. My nose, eyes, eyebrows, lips, chin, head shape, forehead, teeth, smile etc. I don't take family pictures either. It wasn't social media that make me think that I'm ugly, it was myself. And I know that I'm ugly because I can see what's in the mirror I'm not blind.
