No. You have to try both before you can choose which one you prefer.

All things being equal, I would rather have different problems than the same ones for a whole nother lifetime.

But I would know exactly how to take advantage of the positives while hopefully maintaining a very high pain tolerance from doing dumb shit and injuring myself so I feel like I could make the most of a new hand.

I don't think one or the other is better. I think the main difference is just how you play with your hand.
