So I’m talking to this girl we went to the same high school but never talked back then. Im 28 she’s 26. She’s beautiful we have a great connection and conversations are great. The only problem I have and maybe I’m overthinking is my views on life. Im ok with her being a Christian woman I was born in a Christian household myself. But I’m more of a person who believes in god and not religion. We’ve been talking for a month and have already gotten into debates, I usually never talk about religion with people but she asked me certain things I couldn’t gloss over. What’s a way I can basically say look I believe in god but I don’t believe in setting up just praying all day and watching church stuff. I believe that we all have to go out and seek to be a positive change in this world

How do you define too much, let´s face it she´s a Christian and you´re Agnostic meaning you believe there is god but can say anything about him.
Depending on how important her faith is to her I think that´s probably not going to work out in the long term because she might have structured her life and her values around that faith, so it´s highly important for her.
That way because you´re not like that it´s probably going to lead to arguments and debates between the two of you.
I wouldn´t say a person can believe too much in god but I think her faith can be a hinderance in your relationship and it´s probably not going well in the long term.

Just be honest with her about how you feel because at the end of the day if it’s really important to her and you want this to be a long term relationship, you’re going to have some hard conversations.
