I'm confused. Do Christians believe that Jesus is God or a son of God?

Christianity, in its original form, is best described as a Jewish apocalypse cult. It was underground from the beginning, and Jesus sent His followers to the far corners of the world to spread it, which means that the version being practiced in, say, Brittany, was very different from the version being practiced in India. The core idea is the same everywhere: there is one God over all creation (there may be other gods, but they're lesser counterparts), and all humans are under His jurisdiction, as it were; said God wants all of humanity to love Him and one another as family. God sent Jesus down to explain this, and then to sacrifice Himself to free humanity from the burden of the costs of sinfulness, and will forgive and accept back in transgressors, who need to do the same to those who sin against them.

Pretty much everything else is up for debate; by the time the Romans stopped persecuting the Christians, many different branches of the faith had already sprung up. There were even debates between those who said that Jesus had two natures, one human and one divine, and those who said He had one nature, which was both human AND divine. What, exactly, is the difference? I don't know; no one's ever been able to give me a satisfactory explanation.

So the answer to your question is: both. It depends on the sect. I personally opt for the "Love 'em all and let God sort 'em out" approach; it's easiest.

Jesus is the Son of God, which basically means Jesus is the physical image of the Father who is a Spirit.

Both Jesus and the Father are one, so yes Jesus is the Almighty as well.

There's only one God in heaven who manifest Himself as 3 distinct beings The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Grew up Christian, then I read the Bible straight through & read many other religious texts, thus becoming an Atheist. It's a lot of flip flopping of this belief depending on your denomination.
God is every part of the Holy Trinity: father, son & holy spirit, but is also supposed to be individual entities. Also with the evolution of language & flip flopping of definitions of words, how the story is told & things being lost in translation over the centuries (there are plenty of documentaries on the translations and what was lost over the centuries (ie one very early translation, I believe was from Greek, there was no spaces so the phrase "God Is Now Here" could also be translated as "God Is Nowhere" & the church chose the one that fit their narrative best)

I’m not a Theologian, but it really depends on your Denomination, and what you have been taught. For some, it’s the Trinity “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”. Meaning all in one.

Depends on the type of Christian.
Some believe in the holy trinity, some don't. Some believe that he is quite literally the son of god. Some believe he is god incarnated. Some believe in the trinity but don't quite understand it.
Then Witnesses believe that he is Michael a Angel sent in a human form because of a certain scripture. Etc etc.

John's Gospel reports Jesus saying "the Father and I are one." Traditional Christianity holds, by the Council of Nicea, that God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Father (God) are "consubstantial", which means They are of the same substance, though They also remain distinct from each other.

I think Christians mean that he is the firstborn of God, the eldest spirit child of God. This was mentioned by Paul.

Jesus even said we are all gods in the Book of John

So I think Jesus is saying we are all a part of God.

Kind of sounds Kabbalistic.

Both. They mean God, Jesus and the holy spirit are all the same one God but it’s just God presenting as different enteties and as these different enteties he has different characteristics so even though they’re all really the same God this God takes on different personas when he takes the form of for example Jesus compared to the holy spirit and so on.

What Christians believe is that they are valuable members of a meaningful existence. They don't pay much attention to the specifics of how or why, lest it not stand to scrutiny.

The son of God, but when you pray, you pray to both of them, when people say God, it refers to both because Jesus is also a God but Jehovah is God the father of Jesus, yes God has a name 😂
