Christians, what is Trinity, and how do you prove it?

The trinity is God is one but co-exist or manifest Himself as a tri-being. The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit.

The proof is God Himself and His word. The Holy Spirit bears witness to the truth of God and the gospel.

1 John 5:6-12

This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood.

And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.

He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Why does God need to manifest himself a tri-beings?

Because He can. God as the Most High can do whatever pleases Him or do you think humans or anyone has a right to dictate to Him what to do?

God is omnipotent. But what do you mean by manifestation? Can you explain more about it?

And can you tell what Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are? And what do they represent?

Manifestation means to be evident or bring forth.

The Father is supreme and the Godhead. The Son (Jesus) is the messiah and Savior of mankind.

And the Holy Spirit is to indwell believers with the Spirit of God and to guide God's children into all truths and conform them into the image and character of Jesus Christ throughout their lives.

1 being God manifested in 3 forms bit with distinct divine operations or duties.

For ex. You are Beham1999: The Son of your parents, the boyfriend of your girlfriend and the worker at a store, same person but you have 3 distinct operations when you are interacting with your parents as their child, your girlfriend and the worker at work.

a confusing and confounding concept explaining God in 3 representations.

To me... it is God represented and conveyed in three ways..."the original God", God's son Jesus which represents God in human form, and a pure spirit which represents God so humans can relate to God.

That's as far as I go. Some start going nuts over these definitions and splintering and killing each other. I don't buy that Jesus was fully God and fully man, I'd say God fully dwelled in Him. language has meaning and different brains translate differently, so I accept others views as theirs.

The trinity is a nonsensical pagan idea that has no place in Christianity. The only mention of the trinity in the entire Bible is known as the Johannine Comma (1 John 5:7), which has shown to be a later interpolation, and not a part of the original text. The KJV is the only Bible where it remains as is, all other translations either not having it at all, or having it at the bottom of the page in a note explaining why it's not in the main body of the text.
The King James Version of the Bible is one of the worst translations that one can currently find in bookstores. It's riddled with mistakes, some of them quite embarrassing (ex. it has the Jews celebrating "Easter").

Trinity is an invention of the medieval church bosses.
It serves as a ''model'' to explain certain thoughts.
Needless to say that I have my own ''opinion'' here :D
God is perceived in different ways and by different experiences. Not all of that matches, and so we are offered three different ways of how we personally can notice God.
- directly, as the One Master of everything
- indirectly, by listening to what Jesus told us
- by 'empathy'... like: you just FEEL that something's allowed; or not.

How to prove it: I don't need to :D

It's definitional, you don't prove it.

It has a usefulness, though. It's what distinguishes the monophysites to trinnitarians.
And clearly both world views have utilities since they produced societies that were very different from each other.

No but it is Sunday here. I can demonstrate the Trinity to you in the Quran as I have with other Muslims who came to know Christ Jesus. In fact, an Islamic Fundamentalists University teacher in the Middle East, found the same thing in 3 Surahs.-He is now Christian and doing Triune God’s work in the Middle East.
—And, the Providence of the Living God, in and through the Holy Spirit, has kept him safe at times when he should have been killed. This professor knows God, in the form of Christ Jesus, personally and existentially as he is being kept by the Holy Spirit in the same way Jesus was.

I'm a Shia Muslim. I'm from Iran. I consider Jesus as a prophet sent down by God to invite people to rightousness and show the right path towards Allah and eternal happiness. And I don't believe that Jesus was crucified, instead he was somebody who looked like Jesus by the name of Juda. And I believe that he is alive, and he will come with the twelfth Imam whom we call Mahdi and he will endorse him and accompany him to save the world from oppression and corruption.

Can you send me the Surahs which have pointed to Trinity?

Okay, but for 600 years after resurrection there was no opposition to the sinless life of the God-man and Son of God who was crucified, buried, and resurrected defeating Death as substitutionary atonement for the Sins Of man.
Mostly from eye witness, secular history, and archaeology did and now does the truth of Jesus’ resurrection as accurate and factual hold true. In fact Zoroastrian Christian Kingdom was set up in Iran 🇮🇷 from 600-650 AD.

@behnam1999 Some people do have different beliefs. Not all religions believe in a Trinity, and even those that do have different details about it. For example, Catholics believe that the Trinity is one entity with 3 persons, while Anglicans believe it is 3 separate persons.
