Things in the Quran that you don't obey?

IWhat are some of the things in the Holy Quran that you guys don't follow? Even though we know we should, everybody has their things that they don't follow. For me personally it would be the hijab. I often go out in public without even though I know it's a sin. What are the things you do personally that is not in line with the Quran?

I have never read it all I know is Mohammed was a prophet and it acknowledges Jesus as a prophet but not THE prophet and that's about it. I have been told by many people in that religion mostly Arabs that they allow everyone to join but they do not allow interracial relationships and its frowned upon. So even though many muslims of different races disagree with those who think that way I still would not venture into the religion because they're those that do think that way. But I'm on the fence about all religions I just believe in God.

You're confused.

The Quran is not about obeying, but understanding. Humans are weak, and it's the act of turning to God in forgiveness that separates humans from animals.

Also, the Quran is the only scripture that states it's not mere faith or following that gets you anywhere in the Afterlife, but Allah himself and his forgiveness.

And they say: "None shall enter paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful." Nay whoever submits his whole self to Allah and is a doer of good he will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. (Quran 2:111-112 )

A mufti a while back put it succinctly. "Only the prophets can lay claim to Jannah, Everyone else needs the forgiveness of Allah to makeup their shortfall.

Every religion has followers who justify their own actions. I'm not a Muslim, never would be, but I'm sure it's no different than any other major religion when it comes to picking and choosing what you want to obey.
