Last week, some guy posted on Facebook about how much he loves God. Out of nowhere, two days later, he died in a car accident. You would think that if God WERE real, He would have saved this guy. To me, this just shows that God isn't real. But of course, believers are gonna run to the "God works in mysterious ways" excuse, aren't they?
Of course not; we'll use logic and point out that your assessment makes no sense. If God is following the Christian philosophy, then He wouldn't always intervene unquestioningly, because that would create slavish devotion in His worshipers, which isn't the goal. That might fly if He were following the Muslim philosophy, since that IS closer to their stated goal, but unquestioning intervention there would create mercenary followers, who'd only keep worshiping as long as the saving kept up. If God's following the Jewish philosophy, then always intervening would annihilate the human capacity for self-reliance and *human* intervention to improve the lives of others, which runs counter to THEIR goals.
Your reasoning only works if God is incapable of logic; but then, any existing ethical quandary just makes you people think God can't be real, doesn't it?

Because you guys really don't understand what the Bible is trying to say and it's just getting tiring at this point how prejudiced people are because their unwilling to have their minds changed.
That's almost like saying if airbags were real, why didn't they save this guy from a car accident.
Maybe god did save him, he is now with god and in a far better place... saved him from the misery of this life.
We will never know, and everyone can believe what they want. It isn't evidence either way, just however you want to take it.
Everybody dies and some people suffer over a decade of agony before they die, this guy died quickly, so it’s not the worst that could have happened to him.

What are you? Retarded?
Everyone dies, kiddo. Doesn't matter if you believe in God or not. Death and taxes are two things no one escapes from.
Would you prefer he died slowly while suffering bowel cancer instead of a quick car crash?
You should have stayed in school.
God promise the fact that we have ever lasting life if we love him so but it's definitely not everlasting here it's kingdom will come soon tho and if he's truly saved then you see them again
Yep. A surgeon saves someone's life and everyone thanks God, not the surgeon. An airplane crashes with 200 people on it and one child survives and people thank God for that one child. What about the other 199 people?
"It's all part of God's unknowable mysterious plan."
That's the standard line.We are all going to die at some point. Love has nothing to do with that. Whether its a 5 year old or a 98 year old the outcome of the race is the same.
If you haven't noticed, people are going to die one day in whatever form in comes at whatever age too.
There's no escaping death. It's 100% guaranteed to happening wheather you are religious or not.
To save him from the hatred of the world. to take him to a better place for purest hearts.
God isn’t a name it’s a Title.
I don’t believe in such Fairytales.Being a believer of God doesn't stop tragedys from happening to us. While God can perform miracles it doesn't mean he's going to perform one right then and there.
This is the place of trails not paradise.
Lol if God saved everyone, no one would die
