I'm agnostic.

But I like reading the Bible from time to time. From what I've gathered, God gave mankind free will.

He has no reason to interfere or with man. Even less so now since man has pushed him away. And every time God talks about mankind's "future" and what will happen to us, it's not so much that he's LITERALLY using future-vision. He is talking about what he KNOWS will happen because he understands our tendencies more than we do ourselves.
