According to the Bible your body stays in the ground until Judgement Day, when your body will be resurrected and rejoined with your soul for judgment. Until then your soul goes to purgatory. On Judgement Day your life will be replayed where you will be required to give account of every idle word you said, and every sinful thought you had. Everyone will see and you will have no defense. Then, if your name is not found in the Book of Life, God will say, "Depart from me, ye accursed who practiced lawlessness, for I never knew you." and you will be cast into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. If you had accepted Jesus as your Savior and his shed blood as payment for all your sins on the cross, then your name will be in the Book of Life and you will be welcomed into the presence of God in Heaven for eternity. A person would be a fool not to take God's pardon. Kind of leaves you with a choice.

Since the time of Jesus’ ascension, there now only remains the place of torment within the earth. We call this place “hell,” which is a translation of the Hebrew word “sheol.” “Sheol” simply means “the world of the dead, the grave, or the pit,” In Greek, the word is “Hades.” Remember, prior to Jesus’ ascension into Heaven, all who died went into the earth, the grave, the pit — either to Abraham’s Bosom or the place of torment. But since Jesus’ ascension, only one place remains — the place of torment, Hell. So, when we refer to Hell, we are only referring to the place of torment.

The place of torment is similar to Abraham’s Bosom in one aspect. It is a temporary abode for the unrighteous dead, just as Abraham’s Bosom was the temporary abode for the righteous dead until the Old Testament saints were fully redeemed. In the place of torment, the unrighteous await a final judgment yet to come, which is the Great White Throne Judgment described in Revelation 20:11-15. At that time, all the souls in the place of torment will be bodily raised, judged, and sent to their eternal destination, the Lake of Fire (Revelations 20:15). The Lake of Fire is certainly not a place of comfort and rest.

No. Judgment is when God reunites their physical bodies and have them cast into the lake of fire.

Jesus told a story about the rich dude and Lazarus. The Rich man was being tormented in the flames.

Luke chapter 13 I think where is at.

People always ask me, if God is loving why doesn't He just destroy them altogether, body and soul, instead or torturing them for eternity. I can see satan, the antichrist, and false prophet, but why grandma and all the good people on earth? I never have a logical answer.

Upon immediate physical death according to Jesus Christ and the Bible your spirit leaves your physical, if saved your spirit goes into the presence of the lord waiting til the 1st resurrection to receive a new glorified body for the new life to come.

If dammed your spirit goes to a holding place called hell waiting for the 2nd resurrection with your original body to stand before the great king Jesus before His throne for judgment, you will be found guilty and cast into the lake of fire by the angles of God.

Jesus talked about in this parable.

Matthew 13:47-51

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.

So it will be at the end of the age.

The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

Once you die you can’t just walk freely anywhere you will have guardians ( or angels in religion words) who will eventually keep you somewhere until you are placed into a better or worst spiritual world depending on how karmic this life was on earth.
Being born on earth isn’t bad you have a chance to make it better or fix your eternal life after death. Even by waking up now donate to poor , thanking god, maybe pray that your mistakes get forgiven.

That’s why media evil etc is trying to hide from us that we are nothing and that we can’t “ improve” and that we are in a globe spinning no where! But your intuition and feeling doesn’t sit right once you hear this right? That you are nothing a piece of shit. Yeah right…
If you believe you are nothing this life is nothing then you lose and they win. They I mean the dark side.
