I believe there is an afterlife. God is real, and we all go somewhere when we die. Creation proves God's existence. Jesus came to die for our sins, and no matter how bad we are, if we believe that him dying on the cross was enough to pay for our sins, then we will be given eternal life. All we have to do to be saved is accept that our goodness could never be enough to get into heaven. So many people teach good works get us into heaven, but that leaves people feeling empty, worthless, and like they will never make it to heaven. So they don't care to think about their afterlife. They get stressed feeling hopeless. There are 2 ways, do or done. Do are those who think you have to do a whole list of things to get to heaven. Then there's the done list. Done= meaning Christ already did all the work so we don't have to. The Bible says eternal life (life in heaven) is a gift. If it's a gift, why would we have to work for it? Then it wouldn't ever be a gift. It'd be more of a reward. God is long-suffering always ready to forgive. All we have to do is believe Christ was good enough to pay for our sins, and all we have to do is believe that is enough. There is a difference in understanding, knowing he exists and believing in him. If there was a burning building and you were at the top, and the firefighters told you to jump out of the window and trust them they'd catch you, that's the same with Christ. You have to trust him. Once you do, there is nothing in this world that you could do to stop being his child. If you could, then it was never a gift. Your sins past, present and future were already all paid for. It's like a child and their parents. A child can get upset with their parents and tell them they don't want anything to do with them anymore, but they are still their parents. No matter what we do, we will never stop being our parents child! It's the same with God. He loves us am and wants everyone to be saved. It's so amazing not ever having to worry where I'll go when I die. If I am wrong what do I loose? Nothing. So that's why I believe in the afterlife. Proof is all around us, in every part of creation.

Maybe we reincarnate, maybe not. However I think concept of heaven and hell is less credible than concept of reincarnation that at least could follow energy conservation law.02 Reply- 4 mo
i heard that but if nobody observed, how would they know it was different?

You already know my opinion on this question mias ellefia...
For sure you won't become a nothing, well even your dead body will be treated with respect, the ones who loves you will always visits you to pray and put flowers on youe grave (ofc after a veryyyyyy looooonnngg time 😌) but your soul will be in heaven which means you're still alive but not physically, there is no such thing as death except for our physical body but your soul will return to it's creator and what matter is your soul, your soul is you and who you are!

@sage2021 thanks miss sage and that's why we always have to remember how to live our lives here on earth cause it's like an exam to us, either we succeed or fail!
God gaves us the freedom to do whatever we want and at the same time he taught us everything and gaves the code to enter the heaven, so it's up to us to decide and choose which path we want to take... - 4 mo
@TonyMetal__86
That's what a lot of people don't understand - it's a choice. It's up to them to choose heaven or hades. To believe that Jesus died for our sins and that he rose again and is coming back; that God loves us.
I sometimes wonder if it is so simple to be saved, that people think it must be harder and more to it that they have to do to get to heaven when they die.
But like you said, he gave us the code. I call it the recipe š - 4 mo

What is going to happen:
- many people will be happy to get a free meal at the final removal party
- a few people will pretend to be sad - for a few days
- some undertaker will rip off the ones that were close to us
- a few governmental tax employees will increase their nosiness
- some new grass will grow
The other things that may happen will go unnoticed by those who are left behind;
but I tell you so much: I'm going to have a lot of fun... and if I return every now and then, it will NOT be in a friendly way :D

I've often said that nothing at all happens, and we just fade away into oblivion, but even though that to me seems like the most logical answer to this riddle, the truth is that no one really knows. Those who are dead either can't, or choose not to, come back and tell us for some reason, and I have to admit that kind of worries me a bit. I don't want there to be an afterlife, or reincarnation. I just don't. One life has been more than enough for me!

but a few WERE dead even according to modern medicine n revived after a short hour or longer and testified they continued... in contrast to the claim "life needs n relies on the body" which is baseless.

may depend what you believe. life transformed to another life? even science says... nothing goes away, just changes form
I gotta wonder if any of the life around me are people from the past in some form. Life and consciousness really are amazing things to behold.. out of nothing, comes life... every day. I'd rather cherish life and be thankful to God than wonder about after, for this is all we know.

I suspect we just transform into something else. Existence appears to me to be a bunch of things that are constantly in the process of transformation. Even if you think about yourself from many, many years ago, that person no longer exists. She's transformed over time into who you are today. But my guess is that pretty much EVERYTHING in your life today is very different from what it was 10 years ago. The things you focus on have changed, your goals have changed, your interests have changed, etc. In that sense the current instantiation of "you" will likely die LONG before the biological entity that you refer to as "you" dies.

We're like a computer program running in the memory of a fragile computer and there's no backup. When the computer crashes, the program is gone.

Some believe in judgement - Heaven and Hell. They have all kinds of fantasies about what Heaven and Hell would be like. Some only believe in Heaven and a loving God. Some believe in reincarnation. Many people believe that we live on in one form or another. Some suspect that we just die.00 Reply- 4 mo
Wouldnāt it be nice to be able to call a dead person to hear what death is like.

The same thing that happens when you go to sleep. Except it is permanent.
It is a wonder people even need to ask this any more since literally everyone goes through non-REM sleep in their daily life. They should know what complete cessation of experience is like already.01 Reply- 4 mo
but when you sleep you breathe! we distinguish breathing in contrast to primitives in year 500.
I think about that from time to time... I envision dying myself, being buried in the dirt and then... I envision planet earth just continuing it's course for years and years... And me in the dirt and never again, ever coming back to what I am now...

I believe there is an afterlife. If I am wrong and we go to nothingness, I've lost nothing of value by believing. If I am correct, I gain everything. Betting current ultimately empty things for the infinite just seems logical to me.

20 Reply Mrs. Ellefia,
I've long but a very logical answer, if u are interested i will share
11 Reply- 4 mo
Look Mrs Ellefia,
Let's Go through the things we know by help of Science.
First of all we know Energy in this universe is constant and never can be created or destroyed but it changes its form.
We consume some of the energy form the universe for our life cycle and these energy is stored in our body in some other forms for our different processes.
Our semen is also made of some of the energy which gives life.
Note: About 60 drops of blood make 1 drop of semen and blood is made from food consumption and food made from Animal and plants which take energy from universe.
Now Imagine there is a tubelight which has several components but, for lit it, we must require electricity which is a form of energy. But if the electricity lost there is no use of tube light. On other hand if tubelight gets broken there is no use of electricity.
The same way if we die, Some energy comes out hence no use of body and If can see it by some technology and repair this problem like tubelight. We can alive again but there is no technology now.
The energy comes out of body is present in the environment and we consume some part or whole of it in different from and it gets converted into semen then a New life.
This a simple mechanism like a Machine.
Means there is no life Again but our energy gets transferred in some part.
Someone may say that some person can recall his/her previous life. It may possible that a greater part of energy has been consumed by the person hence may caused to this.
Note: This is my personal opinion based on my logics but some of the things might be hypothetical but we don't know a bit about it.
So without going through any religion, I prefer this logic.
Thanks Ellefia.
