My theory is that everyone has a past life and while a reincarnation happens, anyone conscious right now will not reincarnate anymore. If you think of it, humanity is quite old by our standards and you wonder why you are born at this era of all. There people who are not conscious but only seem like they are. Which is why there are people who risk death a lot. Like being a psychopath, not taking life seriously, lowlife so commit crimes or whatever. They would probably reincarnate but those living their life to the fullest maybe the conscious ones who values life. That could also explain why people in the past were so death risky as if they were just playing a game because people who are just living but not conscious were way more common. The world becoming more peaceful as more people are becoming conscious maybe due to their lives being the last which is why human rights are better now than before. So if conscious people die now, they will cease from existence or maybe their soul is going to retire.

we reconnect with that which we came from and those whom loved us as we cross over.

I'll cross through the way and although I screwed it up plenty, I'll make it through to Jesus Kingdom. There, I'll have a garden to tend with ever flower, and fruit and vegetable growing. The cat will hang out with the dog so to speak... in peace... no more hissing and all that. My wife can come play there... but I know she does't stay put for long... so she can wander around on her mountain as she shares wisdom and plays with all there is eternally.

All those whom have love in their hearts are welcome.

Since I'll have a new body, I will be flying around... I likely... will be a flying ant! I won't bite.

The Kjv Bible says we will "sleep" or be dead in the grave till Jesus 2nd coming... which won't be to long from now. Then the dead will rise from the grave with thoughts as if they were never dead and 2 second past since the last time they were awake... THEN the Living will rise, US who are with Jesus who believes in HIS commandments like oh, let's say the 4th commandment, "REMEMBER the Sabbath day and keep it holy. 6 days you shall work and the 7th day you shall rest." ... and not forget about the 7th day Saturday sabbath and rest on the 1st day of the week Sunday instead that is NOT anywhere in any bible.

I do not have a religious faith, so, I have no idea as to how "I will spend eternity". We have so very little knowledge about our "origin" (hard-scientific-knowledge) As dismal as it sounds, I just believe that we die and that is the end of our existence on this planet.

Believe me, I wish I had 'Faith", as that would make our lives and deaths easier to bear.

I dont know.  logically, it probably isn't any different than animals who die. On some level, everything is recycled and reincarnated. But I think the sense of identity we have is simply lost when we die. I don't know if there's some ever present consciousness that gets reincarnated or spends eternity somewhere else.
