Do you believe it’s possible to be sheltered and rich yet a very happy and caring person?

I don’t want to live totally poor or sad but I also don’t want to go to hell for riding around in my yacht and golf cart while ignoring people who are hungry and homeless. I have been exploring how to keep both myself and also my God happy these years.

I guess it's possible. I don't know. I've never known a rich person personally. I grew up somewhat sheltered in a way and somewhat poor. So obviously I don't know what it's like to grow up wealthy, but I can say that being sheltered is not a good thing. I developed anxieties about social interactions with people I didn't know and I still haven't fully got over them. As for being caring, I think it's easier to empathize with the struggles of others when you personally know how those struggles feel, but I don't think it's impossible to empathize regardless.

When you have a surplus it would be a crime against humanity to not give to those less fortunate

how can you have a mansion with 40 rooms while families of 5 are sleeping in a 1 bed hotel room or people sleeping in cardboard boxes

The best bet is to volunteer to help those less fortunate. Hand out food at a food line, candy striper at a hospital, or some such.
