How do I overcome my fear of death?

I’ve been a Catholic all my life. It teaches that there is a resurrection after death and we go to Heaven. I don’t want there to be a reincarnation or the end of life. I want my life to continue in Heaven for all eternity. I want death to be a beginning of a better life in eternity. I hope Jesus and the resurrection is real and not make believe.

science is limited to physical matter and energy. it cannot be expected to find or measure spiritual. the bible hints no reincarnation so if you trust book no worries. about ending, see gospel john 3,14-17.

Putting your faith in Christ to save you, is the only assurance you have. After all He proved his deity by raising from the dead. Just about everyone knows He existed and nobody can locate his body.

Well not paying attention to religious fear mongering would be a good start. Just a thought. I don’t fear death, and I also don’t listen to every religions theory about the afterlife or lack there of. There’s no true way to know what happens after death until you’ve died. So why waste your life fearing something that is impossible to know until the time comes?

The best thing you can do is to build on that hope that you have. Faith is assurance in things we cannot see. If you you are saved, you can rest in the hope that is eternity in Heaven. There is nothing wrong with wanting to believe that there is something wonderful beyond this life, even if it cannot be proven on this side of heaven. There is nothing with wanting proof either.
