I do not believe that forgiveness is unconditional. It says you forgive when there is apology or repentance and the Jewish bible says God does not always forgive when forgiveness is not justified by the persons life. Examples include a woman who was never abused by anyone yet chose to abuse her kids. God might say, there is no excuse for your behaviour so I will not choose to forgive you. I forgave my grandma for being racist cause her brother in law was murdered by a soldier from another country. But if I don’t have the same background as that and choose to be racist, God might forgive my grandma who had reasonable excuses for her racism, but not me who had no reasonable excuse for being racist.

Matt 6: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
It's NOT conditional. You MUST forgive. You don't have to forget, but Christians must forgive.

Luke 6:27-29 is talking about the same thing. I don't really find any of it hard to follow, however I don't have the best memory to remember it all.

keep in mind jesus OFTEN spoke in parables. not literal.

the hardest part is probly believing "he was raised on the third day" from dead because that is supernatural. dead people do not revive if truly dead for three days unless supernatural. still witnesses saw him die and witnesses saw him live after he died.
i heard muslims reject the first part they say he did not die but if so no payment for the debt of sin. others say he did not revive same as everyone but eyewitnesses saw. others say he was a fictional characted that never existed but historians near his time such as josephus mentioned jesus as a real person refuting those ignorant people.
