I don't recall being a "sinner" as a child. I do recall being corrupted and becomming one.

well I'm not a Christian so I maybe I should answer this but I do believe in my God and I do believe that I'm sinner and I will probably always be a sinner
just for the fact of everything that I believe in.
I also believe that when we were born we are all giving a gift of choice and we get to choose who we want to be in life by the things we say and do.
we don't really learn that until later on in Life or at least I didn't.
because who you become from one to 18 your influence by your parents and your friends but once again it's a choice on who you want to be

and if that's the case the next dimension that I go into I want to have all the knowledge that I possibly can while being the best that I possibly can it doesn't mean that I'm going to be the same person that I am on this Earth in that dimension.. no matter what I do if it's a sin or wrong or right I learn from it and I do no wrong from right and I know how to treat people.. and just like failure in success failure is success because you have to fail before you can succeed

Basic epistemology- hell, basic philosophical logic- says that sin requires moral agency; that's why there's grounds for claiming innocence in cases of mental illness or demonic possession. By definition, then, you CAN'T be born a sinner. "Original sin" is a bullshit marketing gimmick, and always has been.

On an abstract side, I'd interpret the sinner detail as:
born without knowing about morals, and thus potentially doing the wrong things.
Everybody was born in sin, thanks to Adam and Eve.. The only person who wasn't was Jesus.. Hell even as little innocent children we lie, and hide the truth not to get in trouble, make a fuss when we don't get what we want etc.. Those are natural..

people learn to sin for example not believing is a sin. so they need jesus even if they did not do other sins just to clean the sin of not believing. as described in gospel john chapter 3.16 to end of 18.
Sin is inherent. It's through our blood from Adam that we have Sin and it's the Blood Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross and His Resurrection that pays the penalty for that Sin on our behalf.

If you are born with no deeds under your belt and not having made any decisions in life, not having fallen into any temptations, how can you not be as clean as an angel? The whole thought of a child born sinful is nonsense and ridiculous man made horseshit. Unless of course these babies take some pleasure out of performing cunnilingus on their mom's clitoris while coming out to this world.
Technically we aren’t be a saint or corrupted. Though we are all born in sin that doesn’t make anyone evil by any means for being born it just means we require god to be cleansed of our sins.
