I don't think that simply because the democratic platform is overtly against everything that any religion stands for (and openly hates Christianity) means that the Republicans deserve a free vote just because. People need to pay a lot more attention to their local elections and primaries to make sure that the scumbag actors pretending to play a character aren't allowed to elevate themselves to higher offices, which is a rampant problem in the GOP. People like Lindsay Graham, John Cornyn, Adam Kitzinger, and Liz Cheney should never be allowed by voters to run for office with an (R) by their name, but there are simply too many people who can't be bothered, and now the GOP is stuck with a lot of crap senators and representatives who most likely will never leave office until they either retire, or screw something up so bad that their district flips.
"Religious" is a much bigger category, but when it comes to Christians, specifically, it's pretty much the other way around.
-Concerned about the breakdown of the nuclear family? I certainly am. And the Democrats seem to be less attached to it- but they're also the ones trying to expand it, by letting the gays in.
-Concerned about abortion? Me, too. And the Democrats are unambiguously the ones pushing for it; here, and here alone, do the conservatives have a point in calling them opposed to Christianity.
-Concerned about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and supporting the poor in general- you know, the stuff that Jesus actually told us to do? The Democrats have a whole lot of incoherent bellowing and grotesque, well-intentioned incompetence to offer, but that far beats out the Republicans' silence.
Christians shouldn't get involved in politics if they truly understand their own religion. Christ was against the rich and powerful, and supported the poor, so where is the politician who is genuinely interested in the plight of those who can't even afford a roof over their heads?
What you have over there in the USA is what I like to call 'corporate totalitarianism'. It doesn't matter which team you barrack for, the result is still misery and suffering, encouraged by a system that is riddled with corruption and incompetence.
Fuck no. Vote how you want. Wanna be a liberal catholic? Go for it. Atheist republican? Go for it

I believe the biblical choice is Biden and not Trump cause Trump breaks basically every law and teaching and moral value the bible teaches,
including do not murder,
when he causes the death of thousands of soldiers by moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, knowing people would die in the process, so he is guilty of murder.
I disagree with most politicians on a very large number of issues. On both sides of the supposed divide between right and left.
The left seems to support the sterilisation of children and abortion while the right appears to support making rape and abuse survivors carry a baby to term irrespective of the damage to the physical and mental health of the mother.
Both extremes are clearly offensive.
Christ would have spoken out against both extremes. I have no doubt about it.

To be honest when you say "Democrat", that term has a lot of nuance now. Radical, woke, racist, anarchists have kind of taken over a large part of the democrats.

Christians just like anyone else should vote for the person or people who best represent what they like and want in terms of morals, values, policy, laws and who can best represent them.
