we have Hindu temples in USA as the Indians have invaded... ahemm... I mean, they have immigrated here. They are everywhere... I can't drive 10 min without passing an indian restaurant. I'm so happy:)!
What little I know about it... it is very complicated and kinda lost for being 5000 years old culture. How many million gods are there exactly? A god for everything. That is called indirection and avoidance. If you have a child... do you worship the plastic toys too? Of course not.
Lets get down to the essence... what is "God". E. g. What is worthy of your worship? It sure as... a plate of palak paneer... isn't some tree god, or a frog god, or sky god. Think damn it! What's the one thing (energy) everyone seeks, even lower animals. You can communicate without words with your heart towards others and they will respond, and connect. So what is that "thing".
The other religions were spread by communication or the sword. Protestant Christian is the most free in my view... they don't kill people to convince them.

The Indian empires did not have the ambition or technological means to take over the world. So it didn't spread. Christianity spread through the Roman empire for a bunch of different reasons. But the result of that was that it got spread to every corner of the developed world at the time. If it hadn't been Christianity it would have been the Roman polytheism. The Muslims were equally ambitious to spread across the world but they simply couldn't compete with the Romans and so they spread south to africa and Eastward to southeast Asia as well as obviously the middle east.
Years later Christians took an interest in Africa during the slave trade and spread Christianity throughout the region there too. Which pushed the Muslims even further back into mostly just the middle east and some parts of Africa. There are still a ton in southeast Asia as well.
Hinduisim just never had the means or the drive to spread all over the earth.
Just as well. the fewer world dominating nonsense ideologies the better.

cuz one of main reasons hinduism teachings n spread of its ideas n beliefs were often more localized due to geographical barriers n cultural differences meanwhile Abrahamic religions originated in regions with more interconnected trade routes n communication networks thus facilitating their spread

"Overall, an estimated 60% of Southern Asia's total population is Hindu. Hindus form a majority in just three countries: Nepal (81%), India (80%) and Mauritius (56%). But 97% of all Hindus live in those countries.
But that means that 360 million of the 1.2 billion Hindus live in other countries around the world.
That's greater than the population of the entire USA.
There are only 15.7 million Jews in the world, meaning that there are almost 23 times more Hindus living in places other than Nepal, India and Mauritius than the entire global population of Jews. That's a lot.Nepal is the only Hindu Country. Then there are lot more countries whose people follow Hinduism. India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia (with Bali being 87% Hindu), Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the United States, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Myanmar, Australia, Mauritius, South Africa, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates.
Because your religion is somewhat private and do not have the credibility like the abrahamic religions!
I respect your religion because you chose to be believe in it...
Anyways, what makes hinduism a special religion is that it's the oldest religion in the world as far as i remember!I don’t know anything about that, but what I do know is people who use the word karma and are not into Hinduism or Buddhism are stupid asses. Because the word karma only applies to those who practice Buddhism or Hinduism. Look it up in the dictionary if you like. Most people who use the term KARMA mean it like, if you do something wrong then it’ll come back at you. That’s stupid fucking horseshit.
no other "hindu country" besides nepan tibet n india. but hindus came here u. s. n all around world.
the caste system relates to CHILDREN so someone in japan doesn't have parents in any caste!
Because Hinduism didn't have crusades and go on killing spree's and enslaving.
At least not to my awareness and if it did was unsuccessful as Muslims and Christians won that. Though Muslims lost to Christians.Hinduism has no country. the country of India is officially "secular". Nepal is mostly Buddhist, not Hindu.
Bali (part of Indonesia) is Hindu. Angkor what was a Hindu temple when constructed and it's in Cambodia.
Because that don't travel abroad and kill people who won't convert.
We have a huge Hindu temple made oc beautiful carved stone and concrete where I live and thousands of Hindus attend there.
Hindu is not invasionary. They don't advocate violence or looting.
The caste system was a hard sell and Hinduism did not become a religion of salvation until much later. The asceticism aspect also made it a hard sell.
PRETTY MUCH ONLY INDIANS.
THE AMOUNT OF NON-HINDI HINDU IS TRULY INFINITESIMAL
Hinduism is not a restricted religion at all. They're people all over the world who practice it. Hinduism is a very open religion to anyone.
It spread into SE Asia and many Hindus took their pratices to England, The US, Canada, Australia, etc
It has spread through immigration, but not local just to India. Malaysia, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka have significant minorities
Hinduism is in nepal sri Lanka as well as pakistan and also South africa mostly in Durban however its not as dominant as the abrahamic faith many westerners probably find it very superstitious.
