And why do you believe there is a rising vedic movement in Eastern Europe?

And why do you believe there is a rising vedic movement in Eastern Europe?
I don’t believe but I respect it. Also I think lots of people like Asian etc. religions because mostly the people of those are highly respectful or fearful of their elders and such. So they’re less likely to do wrong etc. They seem to do nice to whoever and I think there’s something comforting about that for others who don’t follow that faith. Gives a sense of genuineness or humble authenticity.
I can say confidently this isn’t 100% true with all who follow this or these types of religions cause I have met some who had some errors in their own life or selfish mindset but I could only attribute that to their human side. And maybe that side that felt restricted by their beliefs and hurts by those who took advantage of that. 🤷♀️
I’m not certain of it all in relation to them. But I do favor some of these people who follow these types of religions. I also find it a bit refreshing and easier to engage with them. All I have to do on my end is not insult them and their religion like offering forbidden foods or suggesting forbidden actives etc. and treat them how I’d like to, and it’s all good. 👍
For the people saying that blue people don't exist, Shiva actually drank all the poison of the world during one circumstance I don't remember. Which resulted in his throat turning blue and hence he is also called "NeelaKantha" or blue throated. So he's described as someone who has blue complexion.
However Krishna being depicted as blue can be said to be inaccurate because he's actually described as someone with really dark complexion.
I'm interested in mythology like Greek mythology and Hindu mythology as well, and there are certain scientific facts in Vedas too.
Though I don't really follow any religion as of now, I find mythology interesting and since I'm Indian, hinduism is a strong part of it's cultural influence and history so it's pretty significant to me.
But if a god "drank poison" it would not hurt him unless he wwas not a god.
@strateguy632 mythology for a reason.
It's just the eastern branch of ancient European beliefs. Without Indian paganism you'd have no Buddhism and without European paganism you'd have no Christianity.
Christianity represented a process of Israelite culture hybridising with Greco-Roman culture. It was founded on many of the stoic & platonic ideals that reflect a lot of pagan traditions at the time & Buddhism emerged no differently. However Buddhists are even more extreme than Christians when it comes to rejecting all forms of passion & emotion (which is why I reject these religions as anti-human).
I know very little about Hindu and I've never heard of Vedic.
I doubt I would be swayed by either of them but I'm fine with whatever people want to believe. In a sense my religion is freedom and liberty. And that means people should be free to believe whatever they want to believe without persecution and I should be free not to believe it.

Your symbol "/" is a trick... They are not names for the same faith... first they are 2 opposing faiths, the veda said kill horses and that faith is extinct...
And replaced by mahabarta hindu "don't kill animals. "
The people in eastern Europe are NOT chanting the veda while peircing the horse with wood... so no vedic yet.
The VEDA was good at its time, to kill a horse instead of human sacrifice, but now "no horse killing" is better. I am releived* it is extinct.
The HINDU gods were too weak to be called divine , indra and others themselves lost battles. Even the "great creator brahma" got his face chopped off.
The shocker is that modern hindu has 2 MAJOR groups one focused on shiva the Other focusd on vishnu... INSTEAD of the god in hindu holy text! Mahabharta.
that only one god is "maintainer and destroyer" named isa... but they DON'T worship isa and instead split destroyer... opposing their own holy book...
Now this isa what is it... a hindi told me it is the hindi name for jesus... matching arabic pronunciation... so his faith in mahabarta directed him to worship isa that came later in the time of herod as jesus.
Mic drop!
I enjoy the non dualistic branch advaita Vedanta. If you look closely it says the same thing in Taoism, Buddhism and what other countless gurus have echoed through the years
A lot of Hindus were historically way less peaceful than those religions because they were warriors who simply believed in their mythology, no different to anyone else until Islam came creeping in.
We have far too many false religions as it is
Adding in another one serves no purpose other than further dividing people
So I don’t believe in it
And I don’t respect it either
AMAZING cultural legacy!!! So much to know, learn & admire. The ramayana, Mahabharata, the veda's, the upanishad. Rumi. Sikhism. The maurya, gupta & mughal empires.
Never heard about it and I don't respect or disrespect something that I have no clue about
People can believe, or not believe, whatever they want. Just don't force one's beliefs on others.
I'm not religious, but I respect it, and I like it more than Abrahamic religions.
Rising movement in Eastern Europe is something I view positively, because there will be more vegetarians - and I am one.
It's definitely more interesting than Christianity
blue people are real and they be in our houses
I like the pink elephant god 🐘 Ganesh?
Ganesha isn't known as a killer
Should be banned as a death cult.
Don't believe it, and don't respect it
Don' t have any idea about it.
Nonsense 🤬
