I'd be inclined to say that scientific advances are in pursuit of not only truth, but that of Truth, capital T Truth.

Is there an entity who possesses all Truth?
I'm inclined to believe that there is.

As an agnostic for most of my life, wanting to, but also fearing to believe in God, I've recently looked back on my life and have recalled many miracles that have occurred along my journey here on Earth.

I used to view the poem, for those who may be familiar with it, "Footprints in the Sand", with bitterness.
I felt that the lone footprints were strictly mine alone.
I've lately come to find that the poem actually has been truly applicable to my life.

Life is extremely hard.
My life lately has been unbearably difficult, as could be said of many others, and worse.
I have no monopoly on suffering difficulties.

I hope for more than that which this physical world can give, or conversely, throw at us.

It's my belief that the spiritual world is not just a human construct, but something True, beyond that which we mere humans can comprehend.
Science may one day find that Truth.
We're still a long way off from that point, though, I believe.

God could’ve been like a ‘computer nerd’ of sorts coming up with the building blocks of matter to create the Universe and scientists discovering the world our creator made for not just us, but all life in the Universe gives us a better idea of the mind our creator had making everything / how he made everything so interconnected & special & beautiful & incredible.

OR There is no God and the more we dig it debunks religious text that was scripture which might’ve been transcribed wrong by mortal man’s idiocy.

OR There really is no God.

There is a reason why it is called, ‘faith’ and not ‘fact’.
You have faith that it can be true, but you are open to the facts that our reality hinges on. That is how I interpret this. No bias or favoritism, just good ole philosophy / analyzation I guess. I don't know what to call it.

Science and history can both give evidence of a Creator. All you have to do is look at a human eye, with all its complexity, and you can see it wasn't by evolution. Because the things without eyes would be eliminated fast enough that there would not be any evolving. Complex things take a designer. But, it is all taken by Faith.

people who believe in god, are trying to avoid science around it like the plague. cause science doesn't allow delusion. it beats delusion with logic and reality. god is delusion. so you have to shroud god in a veil of ignorance. as soon as you choose to lift the ignorance, nothing about god makes sense anymore.
