Ok so let's say your argument is then, God exists and is showing humanity his power.
If that's the case your god is a prick, in fact the biggest prick of all. Your god is an immature spoilt child playing with an ant farm and will throw the farm to the floor when the ants don't behave in the way he or she expects.
What kind of omnipotent all knowing being gives us the power to determine our own fates and at the same time gives us the ability to reproduce at will.
What kind of selfish childish being then gets upset when we don't do exactly as it expects even though it had never once told us in any definitive manner exactly how to behave, and while being upset sends a virus that had the potential to kill billions of us and not in any way that shows this being gives a crap but I'm a way that causes intense pain and suffering and fear.
At the same time making sure that those who worship this being and follow what they think is the teachings of this being are at just as much risk of pain and fear and death as everyone else, as though this being just really doesn't give a shit whether or not you follow it's words.
Sorry but if that's the god your asking about then two things are true, either your god is a cunt or your god doesn't exist and this is just a natural consequence of human behaviour like all mamal behaviour when any mamal population gets too large disease breaks out and thins the numbers a bit.

Science is knowledge. It can't make us all-powerful in the face of every force in the universe. We can use science to predict sea level rise due to global warming and melting glaciers, but scientific knowledge alone can't magically reverse global warming. Nor can it magically heal people who contract deadly diseases. Eventually we may develop a vaccine to protect against SARS-Cov-2 but currently we don't have a way to do this instantaneously. Our understanding of biochemistry has grown tremendously in the past 50 years, so it seems possible that in the future we will be able to take a viral sample and quickly produce a vaccine.
But science works better than anything else. Prayer and religious observance is no help at all. At least 45 people became infected at a church choir rehearsal on March 6th, and some have already died. That was before the general quarantine, but the danger of the virus was known. The choir director assumed that no one in the choir was infected since there were no known infections in the county, but someone was and the infection was transmitted to 3/4 of the people who attended.
The majority of the people who died were elders. Like Old fragile people. If that's God way of showing power, well I'd be nervous as a religious person. Just because that "would be attempt" is pathetic and will be overthrown by... science yet again lol. If we find a cure that is. Science still be fighting. And what if we do find the cure. We're going to say that God said enough is enough, here is the cure? No, it'll be made by mankind.
It's not that I hate people who believe. I don't dislike them either. Some of my friends are like religious. I'm just so curious on why people believe. so I want to ask you to please respond to me and all the others who don't seem to agree with your beliefs. Let me understand you through your arguments, experiences.
Because everytime I do call out for a discussion like this. They don't bite. No one seems to want to talk for God. I see them reply to other believers, give them that like, that little thumbs up. But to me and other doubters, nope. We seem rather divided. One person here wishes death upon us, and that doesn't seem right, yet it was liked and replied to by other believers. Aren't we all children of God?
I am religious, I do believe in God but not in a way were I see him/her as a figure looking at us for far away. God live in us, making us divine. Science for me is not something apart from God, knowledge is God and God is knowledge. This is my thinking.
This pandemic has nothing to do with God, our life in this planet has a process.
My answer is that God is in us and with us in this pandemic situation. That we humans believers and not, have our responsibilities with our planet and with our society. We will find a vaccine by the amazing scientists we have. We will learn that we need to protect Earth more. We will learn that be compassionate has nothing to do if we are believer or not in God, that on us, is our choice.
I know the Bible, know some religions and I do not believe in a God that punish us. I think as him/her as all love. The same amount of love we give the same amount of love we receive. We humans have make some mistakes but if we do not let our self forget we can learn and make resolutions so this never happen again with people dying in this proportions.
I hope you find my answers useful.

What do you mean by saying “science is helpless before” COVID-19? Science has been developing tests and vaccines to deal with this “invisible enemy”. I will grant you that human error has permitted this virus—which is genetically programmed in such a way as to make it really hard to stop—to run rampant: the virus is easily spread even before the infected individual has the symptoms to know they should avoid others; many of our elected leaders have been both obstructive of the processes in place to confront this crisis and dismissive of its seriousness; some segments of our population are still unwilling to accept that this virus is something that should be taken deadly seriously.
That does not mean that science is helpless. Nor does it mean that the virus is a manifestation of divine wrath (for that matter, what kind of “loving, merciful god” would afflict their “children” with this kind of death and horror?). It does mean that science must wait for those who wield the tools and power of science to do so. The longer they wait to act, the bigger the threat becomes.
If God wants to show he is greater than science, “he” is going to have to do more. Also, why should the deity who supposedly created humanity with the cognitive capacity to develop science should object to humanity making good use of that mental prowess? Would a loving parent coach their child to be a great soccer player... and then berate their child for making it onto the World Cup team? Does that make sense to you?
“... now nature is overruling human...” I think you should take a little more time to think about this. If nature is overruling human[ity], that would imply that humanity was being wiped out. What more likely appears to be happening is that humanity is thinking too much of itself and not enough about the nature around it. Nature is not being spiteful or actively attacking humanity.Idiots that deny nature is a thing are helpless before nature. As in the example of morons who think men can turn into women and race is a "social construct" . Science is the study of nature and depends on natural laws for it's existence. What ever science learns is part of nature and caries natures authority if it is correctly learned that is. It's just that nature is the biggest thickest book imaginable with pages that go on forever and we learn slowly. We were helpless before smallpox once too till we learned natures laws regarding it.
I am always amazed how people want god to exist (yes I believe he does)
But they way they try to prove his existence is when something horrible happens to people.
It's got to make god feel horrible to know his followers think so little of him that they think he is so petty that he would kill thousands of people to win an argumentBiblically, God handed over the keys to the car that is earth to Us to handle, maintain, and take care of while remaining in direct contact to Himself for any outside help. We decided we wanted to work our own agenda and end up losing the favor of the literal source of goodness and joy. As a result everything slowly becomes more and more corrupt and Godless, more genetically deluted and less healthy. Until towards the end days human genetics are so weak cancer, alzheimers, heart disease, and mutation run rampent through the populis and God weeps on the sidelines saying "Why did you abandon me?"
Your question is just a ridiculous misunderstanding of science, and I have to laugh!!!
Thank you for that, and amusing me with this post!!
Science is about hypothesis, and testing, analysis, and evaluation! It takes time! It isn't Harry Potter's wand, and a Latin phrase to cure all, much like God, has not just waved His Great Hand, and saved the thousands of beloved Grandmothers and Grandfathers, that have succumbed to this virus.
If God was all-loving, why would there be viruses like this, that kill children's beloved, ADORED grandparents?
Focus your statement/argument, and don't wander off with a lot of other nonsense, like animals, and pollution, and so on, confusing the issue, when your argument, at it's simplest, is not valid and ready to stand logical debate.U know I have this theory... i may have not been the first to think of it but anyways... what if God was real (doesn't have to be God in paticular just a higher higher power)... and we humans are all just lab rats part of an experiment... and every 'bad thing' that happens is just another variable or test. Our deaths are equivalent to that of an ant in his eyes... insignificant (๑°⌓°๑) God is honestly what we want him to be, An all powerful, loving, righteous being (and all that could just be part of a variable) We can't really know hez true nature... maybe he is cruel... maybe hez not a very shiny old dude as hez often depicted... maybe hez name isn't God its Steve... maybe he intentionally nuked the lizards so that we may question who came first as part of a variable who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Science is far from helpless, but science doesn't mean instant answers and instant solutions to every problem.
Science is learning faster than ever, but the amount of information to learn is effectively infinite, so we prioritize what is most important to us. But we will never have every answer.
Gods were created by men to provide answers to questions that otherwise had no hope of being answered, due to a lack of scientific knowledge, and to give hope and comfort to people in a brutal, cruel world. And while we're far from being experts of the universe, we've at least moved on from "kindergarten" into grade school from a scientific perspective. We've mostly gotten past monsters under the bed and the man in the sky throwing lightning bolts. If god exists, then he's the one that created it and its infinite workings
This God vs Science bullshit needs to stop
Having science means you like to find answers to complicated questions
Having faith means never questioning anything
Why dont you all meet in the middle and stop focusing on the differences.
Science will never find god no matter how weve advanced, even if he does exist, and god will never go against his creations, science included.
Find something a little better to find solutions to maybe?
Like racism or world hungerScience is not helpless against Corona, thanks to science we know it exists, we know how to protect ourselves, we research it and look for cure/vaccine. What does God can do about it, doesn't matter how much you pray, you won't be healed, if anything your immune system will fight it off, and how do we know we even have immune system? Science. Ofc some people will say "god made you and gave you your immune system" did he tho' ? It baffles me doctors work hard and thanks to science and knowledge and skill save lives but cuz of religious beliefs people will credit god, god does everything and if a person did it, "god let him, he guided his hand" like for real. I don't hate god but hate zealous believers and religion in general.
We see many liberals/communists that have the mindset that they are more intelligent than everybody else put their faith in the system, technology, and the support infrastructure now finding themselves in a “foxhole” or the trenches with this COVID-19 as the scientists can’t reliably predict the outcome yet and feeling a need for hope. Their response it appears is panic and/or only seeing the worse. They fold quickly. However, I don’t think this is even close to being bad enough to convince yet. Yes, “God/nature” will quickly put all in their place when wrath befalls upon it all.
To my friends in the land of the lost…I think your, probably, islamic or Christian faith make you unable to think rationally. Science is a method, not a way of life. And we've had way worse than Covid19, and scientists found curee through the use of science. And since you think god wants to show he is greater than science by creating Covid19, doesn't that mean your god is a murderer who choses to kill hundred of thousands people just because he's insecure? Your thinking is all over the place mate, get a grip, we'll talk about god when there will be a proof that god exists.
science has no power. people have. science is just the best way of "knowing things" that humanity currently has. and well for example if a huge meteorite hits earth, humans will just die. there's no way around it, cause our capacity to do shit about that is too insignificant. that doesn't mean science failed. we do not have the capacity to do certain things. science isn't magic...
god however doesn't exist so i don't know how something that doesn't exist would even wanna oppose or "overpower" anything. What do you think is going on in the medical industry is doing right now? Medicinal research is currently working on a vaccine and pathologists have been devising methods to best inhibit the spread of the disease. Heck, one of the biggest things that spreads it currently is social gatherings which includes church services. Those that have been compiling with the recommendations from the medical experts (The scientists) have been the least likely to catch COVID-19. It seems odd that something supposedly caused by god seems to be 'created' to cause so much conflict with those that worship it.
If there were a vaccine for Covid tomorrow, theists would just say it was their gods will that there would be a vaccine and that Covid being defeated was therefore religion defeating science - This argument is easily spun whatever way you want to. Because there is no clear battle line on where a virus or its vaccine falls with regards to a science vs religion dichotomy.
It's the other way around: god is helpless before science (especially since science is factual and god is an invention for pathetic idiots who love being decieved out of their logic and money). As for nature - well it goes hand in hand with science. And asking how come science is allegedly helpless in dealing with Covid-19 - well that just shows an accute lack of ability to understand the definitions of science, research and scientific progress.
By all means, you oxygen wasting insects, pray to your "god", but it will be the scientists who find a cure. Feel free to refuse a vaccine and die.A virus kills some people and you're just like "hang it up doc and bow before the almighty, you're useless, no sense even trying." Well fuck you and anyone who thinks like you. how good are prayers are at stopping viruses? Does holy water cure cancer? Who works in hospitals shithead? Not priests and faith healers, Joel Osteen dont prescribe your medications, people with PHDs in medical SCIENCE do.
What do mean by coincidence? I dont understand that.
Also how is science helpless, we have already created test, and ard already testing vaccines so i dont see how its helpless against it. Plus if god really is behind the covid 19 virus he's lost his game back in the old days he flooded the entire world but now he's reduced to this?
What actually caused this was evolution, what I believe you have done is the "god of the gaps" argument you've seen a gap and filled it with you're perception of god.
I mean he's god if he wanted to heal the world why use a temporary ineffective solution. It may have slightly improved things but it's not some big restoration of the world. Our immune system will adapt as they have countless
times through history. Science will simply reduce the death toll necessary for that to take place. As for God I think the fact huge numbers of people are helping others during this crisis shows we don't need god and his evil schemes.Science isn't some sort of "entity", nor it is a group of educated people studying certain fields.
Science is just a method. A way to gather information and gain knowledge.
If God really wanted to show how we're helpless against him, then wouldn't he make us suffer from something that would be literally impossible to solve without his help? Since you mentioned that we will eventually be able to develop a vaccine, then doesn't that kinda disprove your entire view on this?If you study hindus old books you will get all things
Like take example of corona
In Hindu whenever we come back home first of all we clean hand foot face or some take bath
Second we do namaste
Third whenever someone died we don't touch that person family for 13 day and we burn that body so no one get infected and coming back from burning we use a tree Wich is natural antygerm and take bath
When ever you chant mantras you made a secret frequency
