Have you had a near death experience, known anyone who has or heard stories about near death experiences?

Some people say they died, then were brought back to life shortly afterwards and said they saw heaven. I’ve been very afraid of the possibility that there is no afterlife, but if they people who had a near death experience are telling the truth, then that must be some proof and/or evidence that there is an afterlife, would you agree?

I once had a dream about my soul being pulled out of my body by a demon granted i was on some strong pain meds following wisdom tooth removal. Although i still can't explain it because i woke up with my heart pounding and it scared the crap out of me. But was it just a dream or a near death experience? i really can't tell you but i never took those pain meds again because i did not want to find out. I rather suffer from the pain then have that scary dream or experience or whatever you want to call it again. It reminded me of the movie the exorcist but in real life.

1, not me, 2 not personally, 3 i read research that was conflicting.

The problem is people who believed in jesus saw jesus , but jews saw a bright light so all were "looking in" to what they already imagined, NOT looking up!

4, fear of "no afterlife", i fail to understand. Ending life is the goal in budhism not something scary or pain. Now hell is scary. You can see it all day a hot sun.

They may be telling the truth, but it's not evidence of an afterlife. It's like dreaming, or other internal experiences unrelated to external stimuli. For example, most people who have had a mobile phone report occasionally feeling their phone vibrate when it's not present.

Not in that way. But I have been in harm's way several times.
