Any spiritual meaning to this?

So I went to visit my brother’s and my grandmother’s graves yesterday they were both in the same cemetery and I lit up candles for both of them my grandmother’s kept going off but my brother’s with just with one lit the candle it never went off like it kept lighting till it all went off. Can someone explain a spiritual meaning to this?

I hate to be the boring person with the boring answer, but... maybe there is no spiritual significance.

How many times have candles behaved erratically, sputtering or flaring or refusing to stay lit, when you weren't lighting them for your departed family members? How many times have you lit candles at those graves and, instead of behaving strangely, the candles behaved exactly like you expected them to?

If you passed away and you wanted to comfort your living relatives, how would you do it? Would you haunt random objects at random times you produce random effects and just hope that they get the message, or would you try to be consistent and communicate clear, unambiguous, meaningful messages? Imagine that you were trying to talk to a living relative, and instead hearing your message, they just marveled at a street light that happened to randomly flicker as they walked under it, mistaking a coincidence for an attempt to communicate and completely missing the message you were actually trying to send. Might make you wonder if they actually understood any of your messages or actually could feel your presence.

I'm not trying to tell you that your brother and grandmother aren't watching over you, but I also want to be realistic. Not everything is a sign.
