Where do saved Christians go after they die according to the Bible? Do they go to "Heaven" or the "New Earth"/ city of "New Jerusalem" etc?

Every created creature has a spirit from The Creator.
When my cat died, its spirit was restored to The Creator. Back in the drawer, so to speak
Humans are different, having been created in G0d's image. Unlike other creatures, we are able to contemplate and do evil. Because of that, we are appraised upon death for our conscientious/righteous handling of of our lives. If we pass the test, we rejoin The Creator. Not sure what happens after that. Reincarnation?

If we don't, we get spiritual death. Maybe like the Phantom Zone in the Superman movie.

The spirit goes up to a "cache" kinda like in star gate sg1. until the day (singular) of judgement. Next stop heaven.

The "new earth" was already "standing" in isaiah 66, 22 so not a future thing. Which is not a problem because books 2nd peter and revelation were both outside called antilegomena.

In simple words 73 books minus 14 (7+7) is 59 books for protestants.

the "shorts" are really one book so 59-11=48 books.
