Why we have to die and lose everything we got over lifespan. Death makes entire existence pointless. Believing in further living in progeny is a swindle. Why want universe we die, why want god that we die if gods exist seemingly eternally. Fear of competition?

Would you exchange your codex, faith, believe and moral for gift of living forever?
Isn't living eternally, collecting knowledge, enjoying life in all possible shapes and nuances more noble goal than believing in afterlife like heaven, hell or being deleted with reincarnation? Isn't our goal to conquer death and omitting limitations set by gods? No matter if we do while merging with AI or improve our protein bodies for never ending rejuvenation.

Abandon God for eternal life and youth? That's a bit of a contradiction, if you ask me.

"Why we have to die and lose everything we got over lifespan." We don't "lose everything". That would imply that we're supposed to take these things and people with us when we die, but they are either, through divine injustice or negligence, lost or taken from us. That's not how it works.

"Death makes entire existence pointless." On the contrary, I think death provides life with its greatest and most profound meaning. Your life is an invitation to your funeral. Better to have your death mourned by those whose lives you touched with love, fondness, and joy than to simply pass on into eternity and then it just be... Tuesday, I guess? It's like what Gandalf says in Lord of the Rings, that it is not given for us to decide the time in which we live, but rather decide what we do with the time that is given to us (paraphrasing, of course).

As tempting as that sounds no. Death gives life meaning. We live to experience all the beautiful things that life has to offer. We were put on earth to find meaning in our lives and live to serve God while we do that. He didn't put us on this earth to seek immortality because it is something that was not meant to be for us while on earth. Only when we die and go to heaven will we get to reap the benefits of that.

There is no such thing as "living forever" in flesh. Many before have tried it, and many after will too. It's a waste and fool's errand.
