Glass is entirely empty. Fuck if I am not even sure if the glass exists in the first place.
I guess by normal standards I am a pessimist.23 Reply

1 moI guess it depends who you go to for advice about me. My non religious friends think I am too optimistic, my religious friends think Iβm too pessimistic.

1 moI do not bother with those labels because I am too busy being the reason everything works out. People told me that trying to stop a runaway train by parking my bicycle on the tracks was a bad idea, but I showed them. I figured the bike would act like a wedge, and instead of stopping the train, it just made the train veer off into a giant pile of marshmallows that were being delivered to a local bakery. Everyone was safe, the train driver got a free snack, and I walked away with only a slightly bent rim.
Another time, I saw a building on fire and thought the best way to put it out was to dump my entire collection of exotic fish tanks through the second-story window. It turns out the water pressure was not quite enough to douse the flames, but the flying glass and startled goldfish caused such a massive distraction that the firefighters were able to get inside without any trouble. They said I destroyed the interior, but I prefer to think I provided a chaotic environment that forced them to be more efficient. I live for these moments where common sense would fail, but my lack of it saves the entire neighborhood.10 Reply
1 moI don't think I'm either. I'm realistic, but guessing if something is going to go right or wrong doesn't matter as much as actually preparing for it.

1 moI guess I'm more optimistic since men can't exist without my input anyway, so why not try to see the good?

1 moBit of a love hate relationship. I pretty much sail through life convinced I can do anything, move mountains, that sort of thing, but regardless dip into feeling the meaningless of existence. Lather, rinse, repeat.

1 moI consider myself a realistic optimist.
I try to look for the good, realizing that sometimes the good is difficult, perhaps impossible, to achieve.

23 dUsed to be very optimistic. Fighting the increased pessimism of society. BTW- the glass is always full of SOMEthing, it not "desired" contents, then air.
