Should we focus our eyes or our inner vision when seeing others’ greatness?

I believe that God does not want us to spend all our time fixated on outwardly great people, instead God wants us to learn the hidden greatness we do not immediately see in ordinary and inwardly great people. Even very basic people have hidden virtue inside them.

Not only is it faulty to ignore secret virtue, it is dangerous. God says the punishment for underestimating religious devotion in the outsider can be as severe as hellfire in certain cases.
