I believe that reason and logic should remain completely separate from religion. Does Christianity ever demand absolute obedience?

That's not possible for some people. Some people believe religious people aren't logical. There's a difference of opinion depending on whatever you believe in

Religion can certainly aid in reason and logic. Much of western society was rooted in it.
