Evidence for what?
Religious logic is we have evidence a city existed therefore this story that mentions it must be true.
@purplepoppy many aspects of the Bible are actually confirmed to be true 🤷♂️
Jesus for example is obviously a real figure considering we have Roman documents from the Era confirming it.
There's not a single mention of Jesus by Rome until well after his death and that's mostly to explain Christianity.
That's common for the Era.
Taciturn clearly describes him as a real individual, with great disdain for the faith.
Take it from a Historian. 🤷♂️

I hate autocorrect
He was an historian, Jesus had been long dead by the time he wrote anything
Of course, and he was writing about the Empire and its dealing in the region.
Scholars don't deny Jesus was a real figure. 🤷♂️
They don't deny, just point to the lack of evidence. I believe he's similar to Robin Hood or King Arthur. He's several real people and fake ones that have all been merged into a single figure.
Your belief, not the perspective of the historical community
None of them have any evidence at all, just old stories. When you ask, what you get is "This book is true because in the book it says it is true."
Christianity. The Bible is litteraly a history book.
How many great names from outside Israel are mentioned in the bible
The Catholic Church.
Islam, because it’s the most recent
Are you muslim?
@FrodoVader007 no. Just answering the literal question.
