Many measures have been created because people do stupid things. Maybe we should remove some of these measures that allow people to be stupid and let nature do its thing. 3 examples below:

1. Pedestrians

Society as a whole would rather place the burden of protecting pedestrians on the drivers rather than having the pedestrians actually care about their own safety. For example, society expects that, even if the pedestrian jaywalks on a 50mph road instead of simply waiting for the light to change and the driver cannot stop in time, the driver should swerve into a ditch rather than hit the pedestrian. The natural selection way would be that, if the pedestrian made this mistake and got hit, the driver would not be seen as at fault. Obviously nobody wants the pedestrian hit, but if their actions caused the issue then it shouldn't be expected for the driver to hurt their livelihood or car to accommodate someone who didn't care about their own safety. If the law made the pedestrian take some accountability, then maybe they would wait their turn before crossing the road.

2. Consuming things not meant for human consumption.

Before the Tide Pod challenge, nobody needed to be told to not eat something meant to clean clothes. Now tide pods have to have warnings to not be consumed. There are many things like this. The natural selection way would be to let the idiots learn the hard way. Maybe they survive and maybe they don't. If they live, they learn. If not, then their stupidity caused it and likely they died before they could be a nuisance in the future at someone else's expense.

3. "Pranks".

Saw a youtube video where a guy goes into dangerous hoods asking people "Want to get popped?" then reaches into his pocket to pull out a soda. If you ask me that and reach in your pocket, then I'm assuming you plan to smoke me and I have the right to defend myself. Natural selection way would be to place the blame on the idiot youtuber, not the person in fear of getting popped.

I have been dating my girlfriend for 8 months until we broke up about 3 weeks ago (another reason by her which i found out was a cover up for what she did) and our relationship has been fine until about 4 months ago, when she became friends with this one guy, which i didn’t like.

I told her on multiple occasions that his intentions weren’t good and that i heard from his friends that he wanted to hit on her. I of course told her this and she didn’t believe it, and told me that she knows how he acts and how he would never do such a thing. She also said that if i trust her and love her that i wouldn’t get worked up with this because she wouldn’t ever do anything as she is not interested in him.

She kept hanging out with him multiple hours a day even when i told her not to.

Fast forward to to a couple days ago, when we were already broken up, i was told by a friend of the guy that she cheated on me with that she cheated on me while i wasn’t in the country for the summer vacation, and while she was still dating me. After i confronted her she got defensive and didn’t admit at first, but when shown a picture of the hickeys that she gave to the guy, she admitted. She said that she broke up with me because she felt guilty but couldn’t tell me the truth. So we were together for about a month after she cheated.

She has been nagging me for the past days saying how she didn’t remember what happened as she drank too much, and that she has no interest in him and that she would do anything and stop seeing anyone if i gave her a second chance. She told me that she would prove me wrong and that she would change and she would never do such a thing again. I still love her and i don’t know if i should get back with her or give her some time to fix herself.

Okay ladies, so supposedly say if you’re in a mall or something with your man just casually spending the day together and go in a few stores there and there, you know, and stuff.

You’re just minding your business, and your boyfriend steps away for a moment or something. Here comes some random guy obnoxious as shit comes over thinking he can come get at you thinking you may want to be with him, so he comes to hit on you and Mack on you, but you tell him you have a boyfriend and you’re taken—happy taken. After that, you’re loyal and faithful in love with your man; you would never entertain or think to be bothered with any other guy, so you tend to walk away from the guy, but the guy refuses to accept it and thinks to grab your arm as such, like come here, and then your man comes over to the guy pissed and says, “Get your mothafuckin off my woman,” and scares him away to kick his ass if he ever thinks to put his hands on you again.

Then after he made the guy go away, he checks on you to check if you are okay and hug/kisses you.

He's the kind of guy who wouldn’t play about you as his woman or another man putting his hands in you physically when you made it clear you’re taken and walk away from the guy, but he tends to put his hand anyway.
