Even with no actual experience I still believe I fall under this category, I wonder if I need to manifest the law of attraction or something even though I do think that’s bs.

You know when you have a gut feeling? I’ve been on and off the dating apps for years, it’s come to the point where I’m not as interested & I swipe on matches/reply to msgs every few days. Dating apps are the only way I’ve tried dating as I dont have a social life but dating apps have been successful for quite a few people I know. I’ve never had a real relationship, I saw someone for a few months maybe 5 years ago & something told me after I saw him that’d I’d be single for a long time. With him it felt like settling & I refuse to ever be with someone that made me feel like that again.

I had to use dating apps bc I’m not very friendly & I don’t get approached in person. I’m told I’m cute/attractive & I will say I have a very low sex drive (haven’t masturbated or had sex in 5 years). I don’t think this is a huge deal considering this isn’t something that will be an issue that early on, a guy can’t just look at my profile/see me in person & know that right off the bat.

I get matches (never been the issue) but it’s always: ghosting, fizzling out, lack of interest (can go both ways), feelings not reciprocated, just not a good match & some guys are just crazy. I just always have a gnawing feeling like guys aren’t attracted to me, I’d get told once in a while that some guy looked at me/found me cute but they never do anything about it. And I don’t either hence why I’m posting this

Girliess and boys, so me and this guy been dating about 1 year (last month was our 1 year anniversary)

Lately we start getting into fights like looot , sometimes its me okey we all do mistakes and shit happens but its okey i apologize it never was or will be probleme for me to admit my mistake and say that im wrong, whats really bother me is that even after i apology and show a real regret he won't stop nagging about the subject he keep just talking untill he actually says something hurtful

He is talktive in his nature i really love that about him but sometimes its just no, he crosses the line a create a problem even if its not something serieux anyways latelty he start geting mad on whatever like the last time we fought because he missed heared me! Yes! He said that cursed him while i didn't i was talking about someone else! But i tried to talk and make things cooler

I dont know i start feeling like he doesn't care if i got mad or probably i can forgive him easly (i dont keep nagging about it) i wanna put him in his place again ( im not being toxic) but being kind and understanding doesn't seem to be solution he is really nice guy but i can't really handle those stuff i feel like i have been really easy with him

i met this guy on yikyak and although we never shared pictures or exchanged social media or talked on call, we described to each other how we look. i lied about my appearance (i’m overweight and not conventionally attractive so i was insecure). i’m (18F) talking to a guy (21M). we started off with just sexting. we caught feelings for each other and are still talking (since January 2024). the thing is that initially in the beginning i didn’t give him my real name or which city i live in. slowly over time, these lies built up. i didn’t think we would even talk for more than a week but we still are. he knows my age, where and what i study, but i lied to him about my name, where i live, my ethnicity/nationality (i’m a woc), what my parents do, sibling, what i look like, and some of my outfits. i also told him i have an ex of 6 years who cheated on me (i was embarrassed i didn’t have any ex when he has 2-3). over time as we caught feelings for each other, he told me he would like to meet me (he’d fly to where i study), ask me out, date me for a couple of years and finally marry me and have a family with me. i think despite these lies we have a real connection- we talk about our dreams and ambitions, our feelings, our favorite music and movies, we talk about books, about our families, our problems, our achievements and pretty much everything. i’m the only person besides his mom who he has told about what he wants to do in the future. we talk most of the day and sleep together on spotify jam. i made him a playlist and he made me one. this weekend he asked me to make a playlist for us to sleep to. a week ago, i told him i loved him and he told me he loved me. i genuinely love this guy a lot and want to have a real relationship with him. should i tell him the truth? if so, how will he react? or should i just tell him i can’t meet because my parents don’t approve and let him go forever?
