Something that creeped me out is learning more about Moray eels, as I've added eel to my diet.

Believe it or not, it's actually quite good. Most of my life, I didn't understand fear of snakes aside from a healthy fear of not getting too close and provoking animals that may cause harm.

I looked up photos of Moray eels and yeah, these things are terrifying looking. Now they're nocturnal, look and move like sea snakes and have several sets of creepy jaws, sacred yet?

Okay, they use a second set of backwards facing jaws to move forward, grab their prey, and pull it down it's throat into its stomach. Scared yet, no?

Okay, they sometimes tie themselves in knots to gain leverage and tear up the bodies of their prey, and also, look at the picture for 5 seconds without looking away.

Yeah, sorry for ruining your sleep schedule...
Just remember they're a million times more terrified of you than you could ever possibly be of them, if it makes you feel better.

I regularly buy newspapers when I go shopping for my groceries, but I've noticed fewer papers are being sold and they're more expensive.

I do subscribe to a cycling magazine, but I don't have the time to read more than one magazine.

Do you buy newspapers and magazines?

Are they too expensive, or do you not have the time to read them, or are they old technology and you have found a better way to read the news?

They need both working and if one gets layed off and even if he or she gets another job it tends to be lower pay , and they can't make payments.

Younger people have college loans , the house , maybe one child, car loans, Health Insurance Prems, Property Taxes, Groceries, Utilities, Gas, etc. These are high today and going up. Most bought their home in better times and things today change overnight. So this is their side.

Now , did they bite off too much? Do they party too much , travel, Cruises, have a chlld too soon, or buy too big a home (I get that they are figuring homes will only get more expensive)? So did they rush to get everything right now and now they realize they over stepped?

My parents rented until they bought their home. It was a just built starter home 3 BR 1 Bath and when they paid it off , they then built porch , garage , and doubled size of Kitchen, they paid that off. They did not buy their 3 kids a car. They helped with cars , but kids paid them back. They helped with college for their kids, but did not pay all of it.

So which is it? Are younger people just biting too much off and spending too much on other stuff? Or is it the System that is failing them with low pay , loan scams, rich just getting richer, banks setting them up for the fall, or the college scam?

How is economy booming with this many foreclosures? What would the Trumpers being saying if Biden was still President? Also don;t you think younger people will be voting for Democrats in November because of this?

A Smart Aleck is just someone just too clever for their own good. During the 1840s in New York City a conman had his wife posing as a prostitute and between them they would rob their customers, knowing few men would report the crime to the police. However sometimes they were caught and escaped prosecution by bribing the officer involved. But then he tried to be too clever by cutting the police out of the deal, because of their previous police corruption, and not wanting to expose themselves. A Calamity Jane is a young woman who gets herself into all sorts of trouble without meaning too. The original Jane was born in Deadwood South Dakota USA 1852. She dressed like a cowboy, and behaved like a cowboy, and her husband's were surprisingly unlucky as 11 out of 12 died in suspicious circumstances. She famously threatened "calamity" to any man who offended her in the slightest way.

To be blessed with the gift of Blarney means a person able to talk their way into another's affection, or out of trouble with ease. Apparently in1602 the English army besieged Blarney Castle in Southern Ireland, and was ordered to surrender. After many excuses and much prevarication the siege failed, and the. monarch of the time give in to his charm, and famously exclaimed "That's more Blarney talk". The legend is that if a visitor should kiss a particular stone at Blarney Castle, they too will be blessed with the gift of the gab.

A Maverick is an unorthodox individual who is independent minded and often innovative. Samuel Maverick 1803-70 was a cattle rancher in Texas that didn't brand his cattle, which no one else dared to do, and then claimed unbranded cattle has is own, which everyone agreed must be his. He became so well known his name was used to describe a politician who refused to affiliate themselves with a particular cause, and been used for wider applications since.
