28F, I just came back from a convention where I met a good amount of famous people (even some men from my favorite shows, band etc) & I was pretty laxed. For the most part they were all attractive, at times I had a hard time making eye contact but got better as I met more people. But for the average “fan girl” I was pretty chill, now why is it when I meet average men in my caliber I get so tense? They’re not nearly as wealthy, well known & while a few average men I met were decent looking they’re no where close to the celebs looks wise. I know it’s b/c it’s a superficial interaction & will become nothing more with the celebs, there’s nothing riding on it vs meeting men from the dating apps & potentially being in a LTR with one. The day before the convention I was talking to someone from the dating app for about 2 weeks & it was going okay but when we met in person I just wasn’t feeling it, was there about 15 min but dipped out b/c the drinks were taking too long & I didn’t want him to spend money on me, waste each other’s time & I had a long day. Being as old as I am & still never have been in a LTR is a red flag, especially when it’s conflicting since people say you’re attractive but men don’t notice you 🤷🏻‍♀️

So since living with my fiancé and his family we all agreed I’d. Pay a certain amount a month for household bills. I had no issue with the amount and that’s has been the same amount since I’ve been here.

But today for some reason I’m getting charged an extra $50 because I use the washer and dryer…. I don’t even spend $50 at the laundry mat…but I have no rebuttal I just simply said okay.

Since I’ve been here his family has been very $ hungry. I’ve been here for 4 months not even 3 weeks into me being here I paid rent…not even 3 FULL WEEKS! I had no job yet, didn’t have my car anymore because it broke down.

His family has judged me from what I wear, what I eat, what I do, when I leave, how I leave etc. They judged me but didn’t bother to help me find work or even help get me to an interview. I don’t expect for them to do anything for me but how are you going to speak on someone’s situation (negatively at that) but not try to help them lol.

At this point I want don’t want anything to do with his family & now it seems like my fiancé doesn’t even stick up for me anymore. I’ve been really unhappy. Since being everything is all about his family and what they want. We haven’t been on any dates, we can barely take a walk without his family expecting him to do something first.

Tell me what I should do because my best friend says to leave and I want to but I know if I do my relationship may be over.
