Okay Rude Employee Criticizes My Attire!
I am a regular customer at wholefoods. I am giving the three stars, because usually the employees were nice to me and friendly, but here I go in the store to get me some soap for me to bath with. This employee comes to me all of sudden out of nowhere telling me to cover up myself men are talking about you dirty! Instead of correcting the men, he is coming at me like I was the problem. An here I am minding my own business, he walks on the isle to where I am at to tell me that. Now at first the girl that work there just complimented me and here he comes telling me I shouldn't dress the way that I dress for men are talking. It is the men problem, I didn't come in this store for no man. Now get this white women come in there with short shorts that shows the butt cheeks at the bottom and nothing said to them. I had on a bikini top with a black covered cardigan on, my shorts are short but no butt cheeks hanging out with some heels. But I am dressing inappropriately for men they say, while they talking about me they say. I really think because I am a black creole that I am athletic and curvy is the reason why this employee said that. Seriously at this store white women come in with short shorts all the time, but when I do it, it is a problem. Very discriminating wholesfoods and you need to hire employees that keep their mouth shut or customers will not shop there anymore and no money making will be made. I am sorry I had to write this review, because the employees usually were nice to me, but this takes the cake for me. The employees definitely has changed

You really needed to validate yourself by bringing that onto here? If I were you I would’ve spoken to the manager, that would’ve actually accomplished something. Venting here won’t do a thing, you’ll likely see him again and feel that same anger because you didn’t stand up for yourself when you had the chance.
Reading about the employees that used to work there on glassdoor or indeed. Their manager wouldn't do anything, because they say the employees do not respect him.
You read the *employees* reviews, not the customers. Whole Foods is a major chain brand, not some mom and pop, you really think complaints like this wouldn’t get handled or addressed at the very least? You know how much higher up people take things when it fails to get handled in-house? It was a waste of time going on to Glassdoor and reading what someone’s work experience was like because it’s irrelevant to what you went through.
Reading the employees that used to work there gives in site to how that business is ran, regardless of what I went through. It have been things I spoke out to people that supposed to get things done and nothing happened. That's why those employees said, the manager is walked over. If he is walked over in which I have seen many times before these people do not do anything. So you can rant about me on here ranting, but if you don't like it, you can just leave. I was just asking in terms of other people experiences.
So why did you waste time writing that scathing review if it’s all so pointless, hm? Why post the review here rather than just asking the question? Because you feel unheard, disregarded, and you want some sort of action and support. You should’ve stood up for yourself, and you didn’t, that’s for you to live with, not me. Let some employee approach me unwarranted in a store telling me to cover up, talking about my clothes, you can bet your ass I’m going to the manager or someone higher up to report that location and I promise it will get handled. You think Whole Foods would risk some sort of major lawsuit over harassment to save that lowly manager and employee? Both are replaceable! People apply there every day! I’d be feeling real bad if I were you but it’s pretty evident that you already are based on the context of your review.
I didn't waste my time, I put it on the site where people are heard on the site where their complaints are heard of. Again if you didn't like me to come on here about it, then why be mad at me for doing so? Just leave then. I know I wouldn't argue with the person being victimized over what those people did. You can report all you want too, but I have seen favoritism and I know that store. Yes! People get lays off everyday, that doesn't mean they will lay off this one. It is up for the manager to fire him, that's if you do report it. A lot of times they don't if the employee is favored and knowing that store. I can tell the ones that are favored has been there longer than the others. Again I have reported many things, that does not mean it is going to get done. I just don't shop there again. That's what people usually do. Because if I do report him, it is up for the manager to do so.
What the hell are you talking about if I don’t like this or that? Why would I care to like your choice? You CHOSE to write a silly review rather than trying to address the issue right then and nothing is going to come from it, just like your other “reports”. Sounds like you already knew it was a losing battle because your verbiage is very defeatist so yes, you wasted your time. Take it how you want.
It wasn't a silly review right there, you thought I shouldn't review, when people do so when it comes to businesses being nice or not. In which I did address the issue that's why the site I wrote it on, people will be aware. You seem more upset of me voicing my opinion than the actual situation, in which I find is very odd. Calling it useless when I still spoke out. I know how a lot of businesses are ran, managers do not get rid of their favorite employees no matter how much the customer complain. There is a guy mentioned at his store the customer complained and the manager looked at the customer being wrong still and he still kept the employee, because he was favored. People do that if the employees are in the cahoot with the manager. That's why it takes more than a compliant to a manager, some people brings the media instead or review it when they can. So you can call me defenseless if you want too, but I did make that review to defend myself rather you like it or not.
Great, and I find it odd that you stood there, had that experience and didn’t go straight to the manager. I find it even odder how you made that pathetic attempt at twisting my views to fit your narrative. To be very clear, I already told your weird ass that I’m not going to be upset over your situation, so stop using that word. Voice your opinion about whatever the hell you want, this is me sharing mine and somehow you're the one being overly sensitive and taking it up the ass. Here is review from a customer at the same wholesfoods that I was at. Maybe you should read this in which this is exactly what I meant.
I have gotten food poisoning from this location, have been spoken to like a second class citizen on numerous occasions, tried to rectify with management, etc. to no avail.
You have numerous employees that I can name but won’t that need to go back to training. SPECIFICALLY - they need to go back over the chapter that covers customer service. NO, the customer is not ALWAYS right, but the customer ALWAYS PAYS YOUR SALARY.
I know I’m nobody, but I don’t need to be reminded of that every time I come to your store.
Treat people the way you would treat your own grandmother if she were your customer. Otherwise, you’re doing it wrong. This location of Whole Foods does it very very wrong and I have darkened their doorstep for the last time. I choose local business who appreciate me and treat me with COMMON COURTESY over convenience.

Yes! I feel how I want about it. You are the weird one coming to my question getting upset about me voicing my opinion, but you say I am the weird one. Um excuse me you didn't have to answer it in the first place, I did not come on here for a person with a nasty attitude. I have told you several times that wholesfoods management does not do anything, but you keep on looking over that part. Since I showed you a review of a person who went to the same wholesfoods and management did nothing this is my point. I am not haitan. I am a Louisiana creole, but I stay working out in which I am doing now. I noiticed since I am doing so and dressing the way I dress many black men tend to want to control what I dress and don't even know me, but I am not the controlling type. I like my freedom lol

Cajun is mostly people who are French in Louisiana. Creole well my makeup is African, Spaniard, Native American, and French, but considered black American. My great grandmother was Native American with long hair to the floor and blind but had high senses to tell who you are and where you are at. Creole language in Louisiana is unique in Louisiana, because only black Creoles in Louisiana can speak it, since it is broken up French slang by black creole people very different language from Haitian Creole. An you right about looking younger, I do actually plus I am short but I wear my heels for that lol. People really don't believe my age. When I go around other ethnicities of people, they compliment me and love me. But when I go around black men they are more aggressive to me, wanting to control me like I am their woman lol. Talking to me disrespectfully like they own me. So yeah I can shop great when I am at the Asian market, they Asian people love me saying, I am the curvy one or I look blaisan, in which I don't think I look blaisan, but I am definitely fit and curvy.

Oh I have been to New York one time with my mother wanting to go see the Niagra falls, but we didn't go, because we realized how the tour bus was expensive to us lol. Looks like every man in the street wanted to talk to me with my mother standing right there. I was shocked how bold men was here to speak right in front of me and my mother as well as called me beautiful with her being right there lol. A nice white guy grab my hand and shook it as well and said, he wanted to take me home to his mother and marry me. I said no, because I was still getting over the shock that I had a lot of men wanted to talk to me with my mother standing right there lol, so I felt kind of embarrassed she is right there lol. I was younger at the time and we were trying to find something to eat at the time, being from the South I like seasoning on my food, so we was trying to find something to eat to our liking, but the hot dogs were good though. I went to Spanish Harlem, and Latina rolled her eyes at me and grabbed her boyfriend closer to her, but she wasn't the only one a quite of few females did that to me up there lol
Been to Niagara Falls a year ago for my birthday by myself, stopped by some of my cousins on the way. There are so places to see where I am because I’m right near Manhattan so plenty of choices of food. I’ve been down south plenty of times but haven’t been to Louisiana yet. You sound really cool though, and up early today like me at work. You could always message me directly if you want to talk about other things

Oh wow! I am sorry about that. I was never married, because men down here are not to be trusted. They will be with their girlfriends/wives still trying to holler at me and people wants to know why I am still not married? It is more in trusting in these men down here. It looks like they go from one woman to the next. I literally had a guy at the gas station waving at me with his girlfriend right there at the passenger seat. Many men did this to me down here. I know I wouldn't want my significant other waving at another lady in front of me, so I ignored them. I am like forget that I might as well be single rather than to deal with all that drama lol. I guess that's why I got my animals, they are more trusting to love you when you give them love back.
