I saw a bit on YouTube which made me cringe a bit. It was satire but it started with a girl telling her boyfriend she's going on a girls trip, just a few of her friends.

Okay, then she says they're going to a club where there's a lot of guys there, he asks why nobody is bringing their boyfriends, she says all her friends are, but she wanted to just go with them.

I know it's satire, but the second I hear "girls trip", I say pretend to be okay with it, but if the key she has to your apartment still works when she gets back, then shame on you for letting her cheat. Even if she hasn't done it yet, the second she walks in and mentioned a girls trip, she'd already made a conscious decision to cheat, months before the "trip" happens.

Those locks should be changed while I'm out and you should have thrown all of my personal belongings out of the window, that same night. To do anything else is to allow yourself to be disrespected and spit on by the person who's supposed to love you, so please don't ignore signs.

Before accusations come in, no, I didn't get cheated on in this fashion. It did happen, but not in this way, it was much more of a sudden thing. We matched on hinge and had great text chemistry. And we were both clearly looking forward to meeting each other and really excited about the upcoming date. Then when we got to the station she said “I had a lot of fun, thank you. We should definitely get lunch somewhere and let me know when you get home” and she gave me a hug. I think she was just trying to reject me softly so I sent her “Just got home. I think the venue was a bit off, sorry if it felt awkward. If you’d like to try again somewhere warmer and quieter, let me know. Otherwise have a good weekend :)”
