A commonly recurring question on this site is: "I discovered that my best friend's wife/whatever is cheatong on him. Should I tell him?"

My initial thought is that your best friend may not believe you and simply get angry at you for telling "such wild stories." And if that happens, you will probably lose your best friend, because. . . people don't want to hear what they don't want to hear, until they're ready to hear it.

So, if your best friend came to you and said that he saw your partner passionately kissing someone else in a place where they perhaps thought they would not be discovered, do you think you would believe it or tell your best friend to GTFO and don't ever come back?

I had dinner with a colleague tonight and I mentioned buying wedding bands this coming week, as we are getting married on April 27. He made the statement that women no longer wear wedding bands and they choose to simply wear their engagement ring. My reaction was to tell him that this is the stupidest thing I have heard so far this year. To the best of my knowledge, women wear both their engagement ring AND their wedding band after they get married.

Obviously, there is no "law" on this subject and a woman is free to do what she wants so please don't tell me that she can do whatever she wants; I already know that. I am trying to determine what other married women do most commonly. Guys, if you have been married, please tell me what your wife does/did.
