I’m black young woman and I’m not the biggest fan of interracial relationships. I mean I believe everyone should stick with their own race. I mean do you want everyone to look the same? Absolutely not.
I love my black men way too much to date outside my race. I’m not racist but I’m just prefer my brothers. Plus I’m Iike my black men dark since I’m brown skin women, close to dark. Anyways I did date a white man and his family had a big problem us dating and made a huge fuss. Some of my relatives didn’t agree with me dating outside of my race so that’s why I prefer my own race. Plus I want my future children to look like me. I’ll support my friends if they date outside their face but I won’t agree with it.

I'm not sure this is just Eastern culture. It seems like complimenting the third person in order to compare your partner, kid or friend is a trick to motivate someone to improve themselves. But does it work?

For me, as the 3rd person, this behavior could bring me troubles, eg. the persons being compared turned to me instead of taking actions to change something about them. I know they're upset and then became rude and criticized me (at the first time we met). That's why I don't feel good when a married man/boyfriend compares their partner with me. It actually causes more self-doubt because I'm still single. Above all, I prefer to have other ladies to be my friends, not enemy.

Would you confront the person who does so, and tell him or her about your feelings and thoughts?

So this guy is my brother's best friend. Since i met him, i found him attractive. After few months, he finally texted me saying that he finds me also very attractive and interesting since the beginning.
He said, he doesn't want to ruin the friendship to my brother, so he thinks friends with benefits would be good for us (but we have to keep it a secret). If we start a relationship , he is afraid of losing his best friend if we broke up.
I'm not sure, because I really like him und would like to have a relationship. What should i do? Can he fall in love with me if we are friends with benefits?
