I feel like a lot of my efforts are in vain. There is just no progress or growth in most endeavors, and everything feels like a hassle. I feel very stagnated. New ideas or visions are looked down upon in scorn. Just trying to maintain stability is a struggle in itself.

I was supposed to have an interview Monday for what I thought was a great role. I was told 2 days after the interview was scheduled that the role was put on hold. Despite hundreds of application and resume submissions, collaborating with recruiters, and working on projects, I have gotten nowhere.

In addition, I have been working with legislator offices since October to try to improve emergency services in this one rural area, and the idea hasn't actually been presented to the legislators. Just their staff dragging their feet.

It seems like anymore, everything is just being delayed, denied, or put on hold.

I have been trying to reach my best friend for over a week about being the best man in my wedding, and I haven't even so much received a text back, despite multiple attempts to get a hold of him.

In my opinion, I don’t really like it at all. I get that the last Shrek movie, which was Shrek Forever After, was released back in 2010, which was 15 years ago now, and the first Shrek movie came out in 2001, which has been 24 years ago this year. I guess the animators think it was time to change it up and give a new animation, but not everything needs to be redone. Everyone is all over online and social media for those who grew up watching Shrek, saying the redesign is horrible and whatnot.

The Shrek universe is designed to be in medieval times, but if you all go watch the trailer, they added a version of the Shrek TikTok into the trailer, which I think is not needed and sad that is probably trying to relate to the times today, but it’s ugh.

They made Shrek look old, Donkey is shedding and getting old, and Fiona looks like she has no teeth.

What are your opinions?

Seeking advice. Gonna try to keep this short, but basically I'm asking you ladies to review my circumstances below and my current age and see if I'm screwed on dating or not. Also I'm an introvert so any pointers to help with that is welcome as well.

I've only been in 2 relationships my whole life. First was my 11th grade year. 2nd was while I was in the military. Have not dated since 2014 and still have NEVER had sex.

I left the military in 2015 at age 22. 2015-2018 was just simply me being to myself to heal. 2018-2024, a LOT of things went wrong for me. In that time frame, I was homeless (the entire time), went through bankruptcy, then worked Corrections, lost those jobs and had to heal from new trauma there. Had ZERO support.

October 2024 I get the job I currently have. November 2024 I get an apartment. I'm happy at my job. The job combined with my VA Disability check ensures all my bills are paid and a small bit left over. Got a roof over my head. Still fixing my credit and paying a few debts off, but I feel stable for the first time in my life.

Now, the only thing that feels missing is a good woman at my side. But, I've been in survival mode so long that I'm not sure where to begin.
