I was always told this growing up. I used to believe women understand men better then vice versa. But not anymore.

I believe women understood men better in earlier times out of necessity. They used to depend more on men to provide and protect them. It was important for them to understand men they wanted to get in a relationship with vs. those to avoid.

But in modern times women seem far less concerned about understanding men. Not that I expect them to naturally understand that. But one thing they seem to struggle with is understanding the difference between likeability / attraction vs. respect. Men actually crave respect more then they crave sex, intimacy, etc.

It’s possible to still respect someone even think you don’t like them. It’s about understanding their situation and what they have to deal with. And truly men generally understand this concept far better then women do.

One example is when I broke up with my ex girlfriend. At that point I was no longer attracted her at all. Can’t say I liked her much either. But I still respected her. I knew about her struggles and dreams. That’s why I gave her the respect of sitting down and breaking up face to face. Endured 2 hours of hell (screaming, crying, etc.).

But I don’t regret it. I didn’t fixate on her flaws and chastise her over grudges and things I didn’t like about her to self justify my decision (I’ve had women do that to me when I was dumped). I had enough respect for her that would just add insult to injury.

Women expect marriage. They expect a guy to take a huge risk on them. Because in a divorce the man loses EVERYTHING. Kids, wife, house, the money he has built. The kids always side with the mum. We lose. All a man’s ambitions and goals in the hands of a woman. Yet we live in a patriarchy?


Not only that women demand full freedom. Women are naturally manipulative and cry to trick the guy into doing things their way. Nowadays women don’t date/commit unless they get everything their way, they aren’t agreeable. I have dated I know, I have a girlfriend. They challenge everything and refuse to just compromise where it doesn’t benefit them. Women are stubborn.

So as men we either stay single or accept this generation of women because we don’t want to be alone.
Because they’re all like this to varying degrees. My girlfriend is on the nicer end but still she just won’t be fair on a couple things and I am so logical about everything.

My girlfriend isn’t a virgin it used to bother me she’s had full sex with a few guys, but I don’t care now as she’s only my girlfriend.

But imagine your wife right, imagine you’re gonna call that girl your wife and she’s done that. Like she let other men inside of her and was begging and screaming for them.

I don’t know how any guy can get married. I’m defo gonna sign a prenup to feel like even if she leaves me I’m unaffected and didn’t lose anything.

A girl might be like he’s the perfect guy - 6 months in dating she is used to him, he is not novelty, no matter how hot + rich etc...

That ‘other’ guy she sees on social media with the abs is novelty as she never had that.

Like with me apart from fame + defined six pack I do have every gift a man can have and I’m a nice guy. I can see my girlfriend getting more and more comfortable around me. She no longer compliments my tall height and ultra luxury things my family own or my looks, career as much. Like I am hung because I’m so fat but I’m only a bit longer than average.
She’s getting over all of it. I can see it.

Women want more and more, they want the novelty.

Best to just get happiness from yourself as no girl will make you happy.

Getting a girlfriend has made me realise, it’s only about your relationship with yourself that matters no other girl will complete or fulfil you.

I'm not sure why but I been a magnet for taken women all of my life.

taken women have always opened up and show interest in me the most just to for me to end up heartbroken later on when they announced they were taken all along

I still remember back in high school there was a girl who was taken that always used to check me out. one day while switching classes she and her boyfriend were walking in front of me and she looked back and stared at me while they held hands. is crazy how she even announced she was pregnant with his ass around that time and her preggo belly started to become more noticeable weeks later.

a year or two later the one that almost won the title as my first girlfriend revealed that she was already taken herself just when I was getting ready to meet her. I obviously burned the bridge with her because I found out that she was trying to breadcrumb out of me

in college things were not so different. girls who would walk with their S/Os on their way to class were always the once that checked me out and showed interest in me.

till then I couldnt help but to be paranoid and ask any woman who tried to click with me if she already has an S/O. however I always heard that assuming that a woman you are interested is already taken can come off as beta behavior.
