Okay, so I need your take on something. I’ve been talking to this guy for a couple of months now, but I just got his Instagram a little over a month ago, and we’ve slowly been talking more and more. At first it honestly seemed like he didn’t want anything to do with me. Until I had noticed he started to stay after class literally until I had left and one day he stayed after and made sure I didn’t forget my water because I had forgotten it and when I reached over he grabbed it for me. Now I know that ain’t anything big buts it’s the small things that he does that just throws me off. I have only one friend in that class and she’s a close friend and sometimes he sits next to us just chatting. A couple nights ago, we were talking until like 11:30 pm.

When I got home, I asked him, “Hey, my friend wants to know if you have a girlfriend”—(I’m the friend 😭). He was like, “Lmaooo no,” and then we kept chatting for a while.

Later that night, he said, “Also, my friend thought you were pretty.” I was like, “Oh, who?” and he said, “I can’t tell you, he would kill me—but he already has a girlfriend ✌️💀.”

I just said, “Lmao alright,” and then we talked a little more and said goodnight.

So I did confess a couple days ago. He doesn't feel the same way. And he’s saying, “It isn’t you” and that he’s still emotionally attached to another girl. And I thought it would be a huge weight lifted from my chest but it wasn’t… I am now just over thinking everything he said. ‘Am I not enough?’ ‘Does he think I’m personally not attractive to him’ like I don’t know how to feel.

Personally I think he just doesn’t feel the same way and is just trying to let me down easy. How do I get over him?
