When I was younger, eating sausages was a regular thing. Sausages were sausages. Back then i liked their taste.

Fast forward to around 2014 i first started to pick up on a distasteful experience eating sausages. It made me go "ew, yuck, that's not sausage. In fact it's not even food. That's garbage". Did I make an unfortunate pick picking sausages?

No, it happened elsewhere. I cycled through a few sausages and they all made me go ew, yuck, i wasted my money, got a horrible taste in my mouth and i wrap my day up in some hunger.

Sometime later I stopped putting any sausages in my shopping card and opted for meat products, that actually look like meat: Chicken, filets & meat cuts.

Sometime later I discovered a humble sausage butcher chain, that claims "we don't play by the rules of others, we produce our own line of sausages". And truly, the sausages they sold are unlike what the grocery stores were selling. I gave it a try and truly, after what I've tasted from them opened my body up to a new perception. These were authentic or artisan-like sausages. From time to time i bought from them.

Then in the year 2022 I have escaped from that region. I tried multiple times the sausages local to me and they too made me go "ew, yuck, that's garbage i'll never buy again!". Have the sausage producers changed their sausage formula globally to edible garbage or what? I can taste the chemicals and the garbage i can't name and my body responding with "spit that shit out, now!". Only sujuk was good but sujuk is too salty for me.

Today in the first time of my life (29 years old) i cooked Steak. It was yummy and tasted just like real and roasted meat. I made up my mind from now on: Sausages won't enter my shopping card. Meat cuts, filets and Steak will. For breakfast or meals i'll have not any f-cking sausages but a big good steak. Surprisingly steak isn't much more expensive than sausages where I am!

What's your take?

• For me I gotta get jacked
• Make a ton of money, gonna takeover my dad’s business in a couple years so really need to do it up and market it to grow further
• Develop all the skills in my medical profession and find what I’m really good at and focus on that
• Learn and understand better running these types of businesses, how to expand and marked treatment
• Create a big social media presence
• Get a nice Porsche 911 gts or even gt3 touring

Can’t think of anything else I need to do. Gotta find a pretty girl at some point too.

I basically need to grab life by the throat. I have no choice. Key thing is I’ve graduated so finally out the education system, but now is the time where I really have to surpass anyone’s expectations. I have to treble what my dad has amassed. Then I can have my fun when I myself have made it.

I want to use my new pieces, but if I just do an 8x8 board the old pieces are no longer available. If I do an 8x16 board, it seems few people would want to play because there's twice as much to learn. What would you do?

Unrelated note: In Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time" series, the characters sometimes play a Chess variant called "Stones" which appears to be a combination of Chess and "Go" which is played on a 13x13 board with a "Neutral" piece starting in the center of the board. Is something like that too outlandish as well?
