28F, I’m just leaning towards bad luck. I’m very introverted & not the friendliest but I don’t think I’m intimidating. I’m told I’m cute/attractive, it’s not like I’m a runway model yet guys just never approach me. I’m told guys look at me but they never do anything about it & I’m too shy. I know there’s nothing wrong with me, most women seem to get guys so easily. That’s why I’ve been on and off the apps since I was maybe 18, getting matches has never been a prob. Convo always fades, ghosting, lack of interest (goes both ways) & some guys who are crazy. I’ve tried a lot of them, usually I stick with Hinge. It’s always a pattern of the guys I want who don’t want me back & the ones that want me I don’t like back. For maybe the past year I’ve become less and less interested, I reply to matches/msgs every couple of days? Even when I was more engaged it still led to the same pattern of no success. A few people have said maybe I’m asexual (haven’t had sex or masturbated in years), assume I’m gay or I’m unsure of what I want. Maybe they’re all wrong & simply I haven’t found the right person? I dated someone for a few months back when I was 23 & after dealing with someone I felt like I settled for, I decided I’d rather be alone vs be with someone I am not crazy for. I’m kind of at the point where I’m apathetic & I just feel too old to be bothered.

2 guy friends, a possibility of dating?

Both guys I've known online for 2 years, we talk on and off, with our good and bad weeks. I've met them eavh individually once, very different kind of days out and different guys.

Number (1) and I share a lot in common its almost strange. We share the same values and he's very mature. I can see something long-term with him. The only downside is that the differences we do have we argue over. He also has autism which means that there are constant communication issues. I feel like we're both very submissive people but that could be potentially comforting. There was no pfp when I started talking to him, so I talked to him for the conversation. In some ways I find him attractive, but it's 50/50.

Number (2) and I share almost nothing in common, although we seem to be able to communicate very easily. Once talking we are both there for each other emotionally and are passionate about our ideas. The downside with him is that I feel I'm constantly struggling to make conversation as it revolves around him. If a relationship were to evolve it would be short term. He is more dominant than myself. I started talking to him originally because he was attractive.

Like say you cancel a date, and he doesn't try to chase you after that, or you don't return his texts, and he stops trying to text you. Or, he's really quiet during the date, and looks unimpressed by you. Does that make you feel insecure and make you try to have sex with him to try and prove yourself to him that you're a caring individual and not a bad, distant person?

I am teaching ski at a ski resort and we are quite a big group of young people working here seasonally, some I know some I don’t. Met this very cute guy and there was immediately something between us, we exchanged numbers and started hanging out a lot just the two of us for like a week. There were cuddles and intimate moments but never sex as I wanted to get to know him better first. Luckily a friend who knows him saw us together and called me aside after about a week, to tell me that he is in a relationship, with a girl she knows. I feel really bad about it but there was no way I could have known before. Luckily I didn’t sleep with him. Do you consider this as cheating, do I have to fear that people will tell her he cheated on her with me?
