Do women still value chivalry, dating, respect, courting, and commitment prior to sex?

There’s a lot of talk about sex here, but I rarely see anything in any comments or questions that refer to a foundation in which sex is made of. Questions always seem to be about hard-core and bad ass style high stakes, high shock value sex, but is there anyone who values romance, or any of the other factors that would actually show a girl that she is valued for being a person, and for who she is first? So in another words, do women still value being taken out on a date, having a guy who is protective, having a guy who cares to get to know who she is, and fall in love with her as a person first? Is there value anymore in making love, or is it all just mechanical high shock value sex? Do women still value a guy who is caring, and enjoys activities with her besides just sex? It seems like a valid question given the climate here!

A woman's biology still wants a man who provides, protects and is chivalrous. It's only the ones who override that and convince themselves otherwise.

Yes I do and won't date anyone who isn't traditional, chivalrous, courts, and respects.. I've been celibate 10 years any ounce of sex talk and disrespect I'm out the door

I don't mind courting my mate , but I have intentions of marriage why I would court and be courted back. I also don't date modern people.

@exitseven I don’t want to speak for her but I think she just means guys who have an old soul instead of the modern mindset of hookup, friends with benefits, and the objectifying women mindset. Guys who still practice chivalry, respect, courting and calling on a woman, and with the intent to make it lasting and committed. That’s very much an older and traditional mindset. The modern mindset is the opposite. There are some girls who still appreciate the more healthy and natural male/female relationships. It has become very rare nowadays to find men or women who think more traditionally

MMM I'd say yes. But at the same time you make it seem like men have to do everything for women. What about the other way around too? Both should be ble to do all those things.

I would agree with you. The question is more directed at the idea that both seem to be at fault. Many men don’t seem to want to put up much effort, and women have very low expectations of a good man and instead many seem to settle for jerks. I think effort is needed both ways.
