I've been with a few guys that have been exceptional in the past. They were so respectful, they treated me like a princess, they made me feel so special and secure. Unfortunately, things didn't work out, mostly because of bad timing, unhealed traumas, relocations... Now I feel like it's so hard to settle down with someone new, even if they're absolutely great. I really want to be in a relationship, but I can't find anyone that meet my expectations anymore. My friends say I'm too picky and should compromise more. But at the same time, I've grown so tired of spending my time looking around and I really start to feel lonely. I don't know what to do. Well, he flaked on me then sent me "good morning" text after leaving me on delivered the entire day. He probably went out with a buddy.

He has never done anything like that before. I feel it was a power move to see if he can be lazy.

I can address it and talk it out or I can act like nothing happened (which he hopes I will do) and do the same thing to him when he asks to get together again.
