There is a woman I am completly and utterly in love with and have been from the second I heard her voice over the phone when we spoke to each other the first time for work.

It didn't take long for us to form a friendship. Almost immediately. And over a short time we became very close emotionally. We were talking to each other several times every day, but never meeting in person. We met once when I drove to her town on her birthday. I was there for something else but if I'm honest, that thing was an excuse to try and see her. She agreed but I think we were both shy, not many words were exchanged and I left feeling soo deflated. Until she phoned me a couple of hours later and asked why I didn't want to stay with her longer. We called each other 8 times that day after meeting in the morning.

She supported me when my Grandad died. She knew something was wrong and called me to find out. I don't know how she knew, there was no way she could, but she did. My Grandad was my favourite person, and she helped me through it.

This relationship has existed for 2 years now. Although we are not as close as we once were. She used to answer every call whether she was available or not. Even in her sleep. Now she goes hours before texting me back, if she texts back at all. Its been worse over the past couple of months. She won't take my calls, and she texts me as an aquantance rather than a friend. I really miss the relationship we had, and I miss her.

My life before her was not good. She tempted me out of my shell in to the big wide world and has inspired me to live my life. I'm doing things now which I never thought I'd ever do. I'm developing and becoming a better man for me, but because of her.

I want to tell her all of this. I want to thank her before I lose her entirely. I don't know what her reaction will be, I think she won't respond at all and that will be the end. But I don't want the regret of not telling her. I have enough of those.

Is sending my text a good idea?

A argument happened and she asks for space and comeback saying she lost feelings but wants to stay friends, but I reply back with not wanting to be friends.

only asking bc apparently she claims it’s me bc she wanted the door open by staying friends so she could decide later, and I wasn’t ok with that especially when our argument was about miss treatment and targeting self worth and me being the only one who even believed it being an issue

we were friends before if that affects anything.

So me and my friend are in this sports social group and this girl started too.
I like this girl and we went out to a football game together ( no a date). This girl is friendly personality and I read the signs wrong. So I text her afterwards and asked if she want to go on a date. She replied that she is not looking to get into a relationship ATM. I said OK no problem and we continued going to group.

That was to 2 months ago. I'm guessing my friend likes her too. The three of us go to football games together and they we always arrive together. My friend said that he is driving pass anyway so just collects her too.

So the other night I was driving pass this girls house and seen his car parked outside and the next day the car was stay there. Now I accepted that she is not interested in me and they can do whatever they like. So I started texting them both to try and see if they would admit that your were spending time together. They lied about spending time with each other. I meet them afterwards and said i was planning on leaving the sports group and do something else. They can be dating or are just good friends too.

My guy is a nice guy but is also a really take the hand/wind up person. And I'm worried he will take the piss and its hard enough seeing them together.

What should I do?

I wasn't allowed to get my license until I was 18, and I got a used car for $700. Those were the days, eh?

With it, I primarily just went to college and back, but sometimes I'd go with friends to a trampoline park, a nature park, to my friend's house (his mom stays home), or the movies.

Before 18, I was a bit jealous of the other kids who got their license at 16 and a car the same time, but when I thought of it, I really don't know what I would've done with a car before then, other than drive to and from school.

Reflecting on the behavior of others, my parents made the right choice in not allowing me to get my license, and even better that they hardly ever allowed me out of the house. So many kids are going out to do drugs, drink, vandalize people's houses, and having casual sex.

I see this kind of behavior as a huge reason why society is plummeting so quickly and the days of strict parents and church needs to come back.

I didn't see myself becoming a father, but now, I find myself in a committed relationship where she's convinced me that I can do my part in raising good children this way and hold on to hope that the future might not turn out as horribly as it appears.

I plan to get them basic phones for emergencies and heavily restrict internet use to protect them until they're old enough to be immune to the constant societal regimentation that's trying to turn them into destructive degenerates that plague society.

For driving, 18 sounds just right, but I will want to keep an eye on them as much as I can to protect them from the people who seek to prey on them and brainwash them.

I want to meet their friends and their parents and be very picky about teachers and even more strict with their boyfriend's and girlfriend's.

Do you see a huge movement of this kind of parenting as possible for the future?
