I started up a karate dojo 2 years ago. It went well until this spring when a bunch of teen and college guys signed up. This fall has been disastrous. Most of those guys have now gotten easily slapped by college girls in the major University town we're in. All have dropped out, and without new signups, I'm forced to close, smh. I'm thinking about giving the leftover money from unclaimed memberships in equal increments to all college girls here who've slapped guys, since basically... this dojo was flat out shut down by college girls😒. Just an idea, but I'm not sure. What to do with it?

There is a stereotype that men are more visual and usually have their minds made up with 30 seconds of meeting a woman if they are interested or not.

To a certain extent that’s true. If a girl is a 5 or below to me physically I am not going to be romantically interested no matter what her personality is. That doesn’t mean I won’t treat her respectfully and be friendly (if she’s got a cool personality). I won’t be rude if she happens to show me interest (will politely decline if need be) But I can’t develop feelings.

But I am thinking that many women are more superficial than ever nowadays when it comes to looks (except if they guy is rich and/or famous)

That’s not to say they shouldn’t have standards. I don’t expect a beautiful 22 yr old woman to not reject a chubby balding 35 yr old guy. But I notice that the less attractive a man is to a woman the more difficult, challenging and bitchy she will be to him.

I know this because I’m my 20s most women considered me a 8 to 9 physically. I’ve gotten older and while I am in great shape for my age the truth is most women see me around a 7 now. They are more difficult and rude in dating situations. They ghost more. I am held to a higher standard on my behavior on the first date.

I don’t expect everything to be willy nilly easy like it was when I was 25. But the fact that: “first impression (looks) = likeability = respect” is depressing.
