I’m starting to realize that maybe men just don’t like me, I’m going to be 30 soon & never been in a proper relationship. I don’t want kids at least but I really don’t think I’m unattractive, I have self esteem issues so my opinion changes. But I’ve been on the dating apps for years on and off, my interest in them just became lesser over the years. Getting matches are never the issue it’s just it working out, always ghosting, fizzling out, etc. I’m told I’m cute/attractive, I never get asked out by guys in person, I can confidently say I’ve never been approached by a guy I found physically attractive. Back when I was 23 I dated someone briefly & I felt so offended by only being able to attract him it felt like settling I couldn’t be with him, I’ve been alone this whole time that shows you how men feel about me. When I was younger and around people my age more often I was told these guys found me attractive but they never did anything about it. The fact that beautiful people are always taken it makes me realize I’m maybe just not good enough. Isn’t it strange being as old as I am & still not meeting someone that I actually like? I’m not asking for a lot: good looks, taller than me (doesn’t have to be 6+ ft), educated, good sense of humor, not a cheater etc. I feel like I’ve genuinely become less interested in dating with my experience, I have a lower than average sex drive too I think

I saw a youtube short where this woman was pissed off because her boyfriends ex called him and was asking for money for some shoes for their son. She mentioned in the video that she is working hard for their relationship and doesn't appreciate her boyfriend spending their *I guess* joint relationship money on shoes when he already pays for child support which is supposed to cover the child's needs.

Would this piss you off?

I just don’t feel like trying anymore. I’ve tried for so long because I know we both love each other a lot but maybe I should just accept our differences and how it’s not going to work in the long run. Yes I do communicate and it’s always the same cycle all over again. He does have good qualities too but it’s going to be too much for you guys to read haha but these are things that bother me. I feel so alone in this relationship

- He doesn’t have any goals in life and make 30k a year. I’m in nursing school and working my ass off. He keeps telling me he would go back to school but always make up excuses. (We have a 7 year age gap, I’d expect him to be somewhere at his age)
- We don’t have similar interests in hobbies. I workout, enjoy sightseeing, and exploring new places. He loves cornhole and chilling and drinking at home with family
- I’m clingy and want to spend more time with him while he seems okay to spend less time together (see each other once a week, even when I’m on break) (We live 15 minutes away)
- I’m always craving for more intimacy than him
- I’m begging for the bare minimum like asking for flowers and only receiving it once throughout our relationship

Hey, so I met a guy around 7 yr ago while I was working in a restaurant, he asked for my number &then a few weeks later I got a train to see him for the weekend. We got on really really well but I didn’t sleep with him as wernt officially dating, we spoke for months after but I ended up going travelling& when I got back he had a girlfriend, I ended up in a 3 year relationship but then we both somehow ended up single at the same time, he contacted me (as must have seen I deleted all photos of ex) we went on a date and the date was just amazing I can’t explain the butterfly feeling he gives me. Still didn’t sleep with him as I’m old fashioned and we weren’t exclusive.. anyways after the date I got back with my ex and we didn’t speak. A year later I’m single & he gets in touch asking if I’m okay and randomly turned up at my house with flowers to cheer me up. we end up talking for a few weeks and he’s asking me why I never make effort to talk to him and why he’s always chasing me (he’s a basketball player so I’m kind of wary that he’s talking to loads of other girls & I’m a bit shy I’m nowhere near as hot) by the way we still haven’t had sex but just having a really nice connection. Again he goes radio Silent on me.. so fast forward a few months and he rings me drunk saying I’m the only person he’s ever loved and he’s so nervous around me etc.. I thought I would make more effort with him so I start finally messaging first and stuff and we plan to have a night away and we talk about having sex & it gets quiet passionate. then again he goes radio silent. so a month goes by & after hearing nothing from him he pops up merry Christmas I love you & one day your going to be my wife which is random as hell since he practically ghosted me twice this year? Then after talking every night on the phone he’s gone silent again? am I reading this all wrong does he even like me or what? or am I just not making enough effort? & no he doesn’t have a wife or a girlfriend I know his family
