Pretty darn sure, we met from fb dating. I tried to play it cool so we only shared our discord UNs, he gave his # but I hid mine when we spoke. I just found out his full name, he showed his drivers license when he had long hair & I got to see his whole name. When I got home & checked, there’s pics of he & this girl from soonest posing together in July all snuggly. Now, there’s pics from earlier this month with he, the girl & a bunch of other people posing in front of a Christmas tree. And they did the same thing last yr, part of the same friend group? I checked her IG & his, they don’t follow each other & don’t have their relationship status on fb. Again, it’s just the lovey dovey pics from April-July & the group Christmas pic from this month & last yr. They’re friends on fb & not on IG.. neither have pics of each other on IG. I honestly wasn’t really leaning towards meeting him a 2nd time, we had a quick dinner & he hugged me but didn’t mention meeting a 2nd time yet. I deleted my fb dating profile but have him on discord (last platform we spoke on), if he reaches out again I’m going to ask.

I met a guy online YEARS ago, and when we 1st met, we were very much in love with each other, considering we were kids. We were dating for a few months online (lived 3 hours away, but he didn't have a car to visit, and I felt uncomfortable with the drive), so we never saw each other physically besides video calls/pics. I met a guy at my undergrad school and dropped him to pursue that relationship. But we have contacted each other at least once a year since the initial split to catch up. Each time I would hear from him, he would be with another girl while I was in the same relationship. He joined the military, and I was very excited to hear from him after he was finished because I still had feelings for him.

After he left boot camp, he informed me that he was stationed across the world without a choice and that we would figure out how to communicate best since there were time differences. Around this time, my dad passed, so I was in a bad mental state, but we were planning on seeing each other since he was going to move to a different location shortly while I was going to the same city for a school conference. He disclosed that he cheated on me with another girl by getting her pregnant (miscarriage), and he couldn't see me as promised due to military circumstances. I was devasted and told him never to contact me again. I spied on him via social media to see what he was up to, and he got engaged to another girl.

Recently, he kept popping up on my social media, and I decided to message him at the beginning of this month to check-in. He was thrilled I reached out. He told me that his engagement had been canceled, disclosed that he loved me, and said he'd pay for my flight to see him physically. I got weird vibes about it all since he didn't fully close the ex-fiance chapter and even had sex with her while we were discussing our future. I cut it off yesterday because he did not show that he changed. Do you think I did the right thing?

So we scheduled a call today for 1 PM, before the call he said he needed to confirm if he’d be available at that time & he did. I thought we were going to do it through the app but he instead msged his # this morning. So when it was time to call, I tried through the app first & it didn’t work, that’s when I called his # & hid my number. He asked if we could video call, I tried again on the app & it didn’t work that’s when we just continued the call through the phone with my # hidden. After a little less than 30 min, he said he had to go build his bed (just moved) & I had to go too so I didn’t fuss. Before ending call, he scheduled dinner later this week & last message I got from him was about 10 min after our call, when he asked if I had discord. I replied back around 6 pm & haven’t heard back from him, did something go down or is everything ok atm & I’m overworrying? We usually message a few times a day except this past Sun & now today
