I stopped at high school senior. Dude weed is unattractive in every way. When your high you are profoundly slowly and not aware of your surroundings. When you are high you are unmotivated and unproductive. Sort of like a retarded sloth. Not a good look to any well rounded attractive female. You got in an ivy league school.. great now go work your ass off and stop trying to be indifderent in social norms.
I don't hear people saying it causes a lack in intelligence. I do hear people say it causes a lack of ambition, which is easily confused because they often yield the same results.
They say it makes you lazy too, yet I excelled athletically in highschool while smoking weed on a regular basis.
I thought an association with the current GOP would be considered unintelligent but don't ask me I'm high.
Fortunately its the only logical one, Rand Paul.

Just read up on his stances. He's libertarian, so pro civil liberties, including pot legalization.
And anti planned parenthood and pro war and pro Israel.
Bought and paid for also.
First off, anti war, watch any of his debates. He's more anti war than most democrats. That's most of the reason he's polling poorly, republicans hate that. He's been heavily criticized for not being pro Israel as well, due to his views on foreign aid. Also, I am pro choice but I see the PP issue as something we don't need to be funding. I'm for a smaller federal government in general, and that includes certain health services like PP. If states wanna fund it, go for it, it just shouldn't be a federal issue. Besides, Mark Zuckerburg for example just donated 900 million, more than half of the feds funding of PP, so it's not like it will shut down. Other non profits don't need federal funding, why should we be funding PP? Also, I'm sorry to deprecate Paul, but he hasn't raised nearly enough money to be bought and paid for. He raised a paltry 2.5 last quarter... whoever's 'buying and paying' for him is pretty damn cheap.
He's been one of the most principled men in Washington his entire career, unwavering on his small government points. Look at his unpopular (amongst the GOP) filibusters against the Patriot act and NSA meta data. He also gave back 1.5 million in unused, allocated senate office funds, unprovoked. Personally, I think he should've ran as a democrat. Easier to be fiscally conservative socially liberal as a dem than a republican.
He wasn't senator at the time to vote but all of the people that were around him agree and say he would have voted for war. He does not have the same values and beliefs as his dad. Of course no argument about his views on PP and abortion. And he stands for the national right to work. The national right to work is a scam to reduce pay for hard working people. If it were up to him his constituents would make 4 dollars an hour no matter their work. Do your research on what that right to work garbage is. That is one of his top donors.
It's anti union, which I understand. It's not so much against union bargaining, but it's against union monopolies. You can collectively bargain, but if I want to take your job while you're striking, why can't I have the freedom to do so? That's how free markets are created. Otherwise we can have one union make completely outrageous demands, and business needs to completely stop until an agreement is made. As for the war, everything he's said has been anti war, and you can't assume based off speculation, largely from his competitors. Since he didn't vote you need to take him at his word.
Please look at who is donating to him and please research the right to work thing. History shows that the people behind these organizations are anti union and are always against any minimum wage. Jeb Bush has this same trickle down economics policy. If we won't pay soldiers anything we should think about paying the middle working class a livable wage. Without unions it would be 1902.
I think it is because the smart people hide it (you) dumb people do not know how to hide it and publish it to make themselves look cool.

because you get high. I think it's fine if people do whatever they want in private, but why make it into an image that forces people have to watch you do drugs in public?
or why even brag about being high in the first place? why should anyone care if you are? I think that because stoners feel the need to do that, says a lot about why they do it.

everybody I know smokes weed. i know many phds ad mds who smoke weed often. weed doesn't make you dumb you're either dumb or not.
you honestly know people with phds who smoke weed? I know that plenty of college grads do, but a phd takes so much effort... weren't they afraid of wrecking their images or failing any exams?

No matter how little you think it harms people, your brain still works better without it. I did it a lot in my early twenties and I think it was a bad idea now.
Pot is terrible for you. I would advise no one to ever take it, aside from the fact that it is illegal. You are going to destroy your health with continuous use.

I'd also like to add that I'm a daily pot smoker, I've held my first career for over a year now and am making more sales than ever. Not that I'm trying to brag by any means but I'm just saying that it doesn't affect me. That being said, I don't some until I get all my important shit done.
The one anti weed argument I'm really sick of is the "gateway drug" argument. The only way it's the gateway drug is that people try it and find out that it's not bad like the government and media portray it to be then use that same mentality and try the actual bad drugs like coke, heroin, meth, etc. if anything more people start with cigarettes and alcohol but they're not illegal now.

I'd also like to add that the war on drugs has been nothing but counterproductive. While I'm obviously against people using hard drugs especially heroin as I've lost friends to it, it did nothing to curb hard drug use/addiction and put non violent drug only offenders in jail only to come out as violent offenders only to return to jail. And most of all a fucking waste of tax dollars and ruin people's lives.
One of the biggest problems in this country. Completely discriminatory in the application as well.
One of the other biggest issues is that it indirectly affects people's employment situations whether pre-employment or existing if they fail a drug test. Obviously people shouldn't show up to work high but it's no better than people showing up to work drunk.
Long story short, I almost lost my job because I had a wreck on the way to work due to the weather/conditions and I had to be drug tested. While I wasn't high at the time of the accident, I smoked a few nights before and definitely would have pissed dirty. If I wasn't able to stop at a shop and buy a fake piss kit on the way to the test, I definitely would have been fired which is bullshit. And honestly companies do that as an excuse to save money for workers comp and insurance.
Beats me, people are so dumb, drug addicts have nothing to do with intelligence.

Because people know who the obvious weed users are and they are pretty stupid. Most people don't know the smart people who do weed because they act normal and don't talk about it with everyone.
Because society is mostly stupid :P
