Anyone who's using the internet for something more than virtual feeding of pigs and horses in ''Family Farm'' has noticed a certain trend. Many teenagers who just started highschool and decided to become atheists but are too yellow to admit it in real life, open a forum, a blog or a youtube channel and begin to bust our balls about religion and God. They also want to show their girlfriend how deep they are...
The problem is not the few dozens of lunatics who want to burn atheists, witches, gay people and books. These people always existed and it is very easy to avoid them and don't give a shit about what they say. The problem is thousands of people, armchair Christians (or anything else) who claim to be religious, but never pray, never do what their faith demands from them and they go to church maybe once every year when they don't even enter the church, but prefer to stand outside. And if you ask them, they tell you ''Yes I'm a Christian''. Yeah sure. And I am Santa's little helper because I was baptized as a Christian. As much as I am a Manchester United fan even though I don't know anything about this group, so are you a Christian. Stop calling yourself something for which you don't care about, so those lunatics I was referring above can have less supporters.
And yes, Christianity did many evil things in the Medieval times, but it was the Medieval times and religion was the dominant statute. In other instances where we had as dominant statute the Metropolis, the Monarch, the State, the Proletariat or today Companies and Associations, bad things come and go depending on the situation. It has nothing to do with God. It has to do with the stupidity in our head. In every Holy Book you can find stories of killing, racism, misogynism and many other things that are not beloved in today's society. Some people say ''yes but these things were written 2000 years ago. If you exclude them you will find lovely moral teachings.''. So, since I am intelligent enough to distinguish the bad things from the good ones then it means I already have a code of ethics to see what's basically good or bad.
Do you think that Crusades and Jihad would have never taken place if there was no Christianity in Europe and the barbarians would not slay each other? Or do you think that witch hunt is something started by Christianity? Before you say it, yes I know that many things were indeed caused by religion. We will never see an atheist suicide bomber doing what happened in Paris 2 days ago for example and many territorial and political disputes could be solved if there was no religion.
The general peace we have today in most parts of the World has nothing to do with atheism. It has to do with human progress, the communication between different countries and cultures and of course......financial interests. The Americans stopped hating the Japanese because the latter are providing them with cars, manga, anime, technology. Here you have it atheists. A nice topic for your blog or youtube channel. But online atheists only like to talk about the philosophical issues regarding the existence of God. Something that can be cute and entertaining when you discuss it with friends, but completely retarded when you post article after article and video after video. If someone who's religious is stupid because he's trying to prove the existence of a God, the atheist is 10 times stupid because he's trying to prove that this is not true.

Are you serious? You take a mystery that the greatest philosophers couldn't solve and you try to solve this online, as if you're discussing the latest Game of Thrones episode. And to all atheists who constantly are a pain in the ass from fucking October until the end of the year because of Christmas:
You should LOVE Christmas exactly because you are an atheist! It is the most cosmic celebration of the Western World! We took the birth of Christ and turned it into an excuse to make money or spend money for gifts that we give to relatives for whom we don't give a shit about! So what's your problem?
So for the end, let me tell you two things:
1. Dear religious people. To believe in the existence of a certain God, is pure faith. Don't try to bring logic or science in the discussion because you won't last long in the debate. Religion and faith is one of the few things were, if asked why you support it, you can simply answer by saying ''Because I like it!''.
2. Dear atheists. Wether you're an atheists because you don't like religion or because you doubt the existence of a God, guess what....WE DON'T CARE! Christianity has survived prosecutions during the Roman Empire, barbarian invasions, scientific revolutions, Soviet pogroms. Your stupid youtube channel or blog can't scare the Christians. I know you think that it is a great achivement that you got rid of religion in your life, but sorry, it is not. You just arrived at a conclusion because you used logic, like you stopped believing in Santa Claus when you grew up.

I'm not entirely certain I understand your point in making this myTake...
I see you gave a lot of ground (in admitting that religion is the cause for much of the world's turmoil.) You also seemed to state that they were not the religion's fault though (you implied that much of the warfare would have occurred regardless). I don't feel that their is any point to really argue with there, but they were just observations of mine.
Now, I can't be certain because he looks a little different, but I assume that that is a picture of "The Amazing Atheist." If that is the case I would argue that he is actually a fairly learned and smart man, although when you talk about his firebrand atheism then I agree, and most of the other atheists I know of actually agree that he is overstepping his bounds... I don't know what else to say lol
I'm not anything like those atheists. They're acting like the religious nuts they complain about.
