(S) He was tailgating (illegal) an old lady while driving and for whatever reason she had to hit her brakes and Jenner plowed into the back of her killing her instantly. Why did she brake? Hard to find out since we can't ask her thanks to Jenner... That happened THIS year.
This isn't about celebrities. I hardly ever even watch television and only knew of this because my hubby mentioned it to me.
I'm speaking about something that's been bothering me for a while. Celebs in general being called heroic for revealing a secret while regular people get condemned for announcing the very same thing.
I'm taking you just read only the title and skipped through my overall message. Not surprising for an illiterate.
When pretty much everyone is speaking about the same thing , you don't necessarily have to be a celeb follower to hear what's circulating. It's called not living under a rock. You should try it sometime.
I read the whole thing, unfortunately for me. You change your opinions on the regular, flipflops belong on tumblr but I guess you couldn't cut it there. :)
All I stated was if people are going to look at celebs as heroes for revealing their secrets then why not look at a regular person the same way for revealing that exact same secret? People only paint others according to their financial status and that isn't right. If it's a duck , let it be a duck no matter the color of the feathers.
I think that logic is too hard for you to understand being that you're simple minded.
This is the first time I've opened up a dialogue with you. If seeing someone around and concluding they're full of shit is the same as stalking then you can throw away the key. \ O /
You concluding that I'm full of shit does not bother me. You are a nobody. In fact even a pussy because you're hiding behind anonymous. I'm making a valid point in my article which you couldn't even seem to see because it's too difficult for someone with your limited brain capacity to understand. Trust me , I won't lose any sleep over what what you think of me. I have my own opinions about you and believe me they are far worse
These people stand out and being publicly recognized matters. It's not so much status as it is achievement recognition which is much of how civil movements shift and change and where a lot of the momentum comes for them: The proof that those who do have status from achievement can still suffer from those problems.
Like the Whoopie Goldberg dyslexia billboards. You wouldn't mock an aware winning actress who reads shit backwards and it does soften the heart towards everyday persons who have the same issues just because that's how humans work.
Great for them ! but what about the everyday people that battle with those same issues? Why can't they be great or seen in a positive light like a celebrity?
A lot of peoples hearts aren't softened when they hear celebs story because usually they are the same people condemning their own neighbor for the very same secret.
Building acceptance is somewhat the goal there; it's not that it solves the problem of the general man, I agree, but HIV used to be a social death sentence in the literal sense with the hysteria around it about 30 years ago and now it's accepted as "a thing" with even dating sites for people who have the incurable virus.
The thing about everyday people though is the lack of achievement. Getting HIV is nothing. Getting HIV and being a basketball legend is something. Surviving with a disability or enduring society and it's wrath while hiding some secret are commonplace but becoming more than your disability or having the courage after success risking incredible ridicule and even rejection are something.
The scale of their impact is large because they have both a major success and flaw versus just a major flaw. Human logic works this way; it's the same reason we get into fights with people about things we would never fight about with others if we actually liked them.

Wow :-O. My heart goes out to the woman who died.
I can't imagine how furious her family was when they saw Jenner on the cover for Woman of the Year...
Hah! I would have probably burned every poster :\ if I were them (yeah right, like that's possible).

I'm correcting you.

Heros because famous
Makes sense
That's just the title.
If you read you'll see that's not what I'm discussing
Thats basically it
They're not heroes... just role models
Your views on gag seem to be as changeable as the weather.
You read only the title and not the article apparently.
I read the whole thing, unfortunately for me. You change your opinions on the regular, flipflops belong on tumblr but I guess you couldn't cut it there. :)
I'm pretty sure you didn't read the whole thing.

And I know who you are. That whole Tumblr response that you've been stalking me and saying it is beyond outdated. Nice try though !

Thanks for stopping by at MY take!
Hey ho, you'll pop off before me.
I see you have a high education level.
Very good !
That's massively hypocritical but ok!
I have a actual degree degree whereas you have one in idiocy.
An ACTUAL degree? lol
Something you don't have. Notice you couldn't even say the same about yourself. What a surprise ! Anonymous idiot
Being a beacon for a cause matters?
What?

Charlie sheen is more of a Hero than Bruce gener
If you say so.
Read the article and not just the title , that is the only way you'll get what I am saying
There's a bigger message.
